<span style="font-family: verdana, sans-serif;">Hello! I had some problems with my blog settings today. Probably because I don't post enough that it doesn't know me. LOL! </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: verdana, sans-serif;">I was excited to post another video of two new projects using new product from the 2020-21 Stampin' UP! catalog. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: verdana, sans-serif;">I chose to use Nothing's Better Than Bundle because well, it has the word "coffee" in it and anyone who knows me, knows my passion for the drink. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZYrffWv6SvmSJk6tAB-01ijJtycG5tBz76mzIWVg3TQGQoIEGp3914eyk6GXbawBAdBDsJb5amvqqhEzab6_WdLuZRPFPuqZc4mdaE3T1F26z3MuYMGLFqBWpohwrhlqVXF2uPNs78c7t/s1600/107378586_267692534522380_841608500470070376_n.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="853" data-original-width="640" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZYrffWv6SvmSJk6tAB-01ijJtycG5tBz76mzIWVg3TQGQoIEGp3914eyk6GXbawBAdBDsJb5amvqqhEzab6_WdLuZRPFPuqZc4mdaE3T1F26z3MuYMGLFqBWpohwrhlqVXF2uPNs78c7t/s320/107378586_267692534522380_841608500470070376_n.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: verdana, sans-serif;">So, I wanted to keep the card simple because the box really holds the other goodies. I started out using a 4 1/4" x 11 piece of Poppy Parade cardstock as my base and added a layer of Crumb Cake. I stamped out on the Whisper White all the components before adhering it to the rest of the card.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: verdana, sans-serif;">I stamped out the words all using Soft Suede Ink. I used the Classic Label Punch found on p. 166, to punch out the Poppy Parade piece with the words "and be awesome". ( I just snipped off the ends)</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIQk4P2iyuls4eqVSQ9muzIYMn-Z6TXeo5XgiKFzae2wtD9Xr5lvHzOg5nLfK73ItXQiAJEvfeLBDMsMYgkk9oCZ_Pe3rHQCBzwvozL-jSE0nF9orGPas3qguQcvfCJ3PkJQkQiVWxImsX/s1600/107764095_613909389248868_6722630408965616220_n+%25281%2529.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="853" data-original-width="640" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIQk4P2iyuls4eqVSQ9muzIYMn-Z6TXeo5XgiKFzae2wtD9Xr5lvHzOg5nLfK73ItXQiAJEvfeLBDMsMYgkk9oCZ_Pe3rHQCBzwvozL-jSE0nF9orGPas3qguQcvfCJ3PkJQkQiVWxImsX/s320/107764095_613909389248868_6722630408965616220_n+%25281%2529.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: verdana, sans-serif;">I then stamped out the two cups directly onto the Whisper White in Soft Suede that I stamped off once and then used the outline of the mug in Momento Black over it. I also used the Soft Suede to stamp the "steam swirls". I stamped the outline two more times in Momento Black onto Poppy Parade DSP Stack and cut using the matching die from the bundle. I used Dimensionals to pop them up.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: verdana, sans-serif;">The cookie box is my favorite because I love making 3D gifts. Here is the directions that I copied and pasted from my word document that is posted on my FB page. </span></div>
<div dir="auto" style="background-color: #f0f2f5; color: #050505; font-size: 15px;">
<span style="font-family: verdana, sans-serif;">Cookie Box Dimensions:</span></div>

<span style="font-family: verdana, sans-serif;">2x7 Poppy Parade (for band)- I didn’t score this band at any particular place, I just placed the cookies inside the pouch and wrapped it to fit and then took it and scored it according to the size of the cookies. Then I punched off the ends with the Tag Topper Punch.</span></div>
<div dir="auto" style="background-color: #f0f2f5; color: #050505; font-size: 15px;">
<span style="font-family: verdana, sans-serif;">DSP piece for the top of the pouch- 1 ¾” x 4 ¾”.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">It feels good to be back on my blog! Today is a great day to start back, the NEW ANNUAL catalog goes LIVE! This past week my husband and I celebrated our 28th Wedding Anniversary and I always struggle making masculine cards, but I saw the sunflower and thought it would be great. I didn't use traditional colors for a sunflower, but I made it my own. The Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle is $51.25 on p. 74 of the catalog. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I used a Cherry Cobbler base and stamped out the sunflower with Momento Black ink randomly on the front. I then stamped the same stamp onto Very Vanilla cardstock and used the coordinating die to cut it out. I used the detailed sunflower outline (which cuts like butter!) in Basic Black card stock and sponged it with Mono Multi and adhered it to the front. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"> I heat embossed the sentiment in Gold Embossing Powder onto Basic Black card stock and used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (p. 179) (The sentiment was from the 2019-20 Holiday catalog that just retired yesterday).</span>Jamie Hurleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18151468425784689968noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6328589444355529038.post-7234898669253697192018-09-08T15:22:00.000-05:002018-09-08T15:25:38.968-05:00Wood Crate Pumpkin Wagons~<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Happy September! (yeah, I know, I'm late to the game, as usual) I started working full time at the elementary school, and it's hard giving up my full time business, but I am DETERMINED to get back into what I love! I thought I'd start with something 3D because I do cards all the time, and thought maybe that's what I needed, something different. There is something about fall that makes me want to do more 3D items than cards. So, I've been wanting to play with my Wood Crate die and my Wood Words stamp set again for a long time and was thinking of how I need to get to the pumpkin patch soon. (My mind is like a computer with a thousand open tabs, stay with me here.) So, I decided to make these cute little wagons with the candy pumpkins in them. I'm going to do a video on how to assemble the red one later this evening or Sunday morning. (the Iowa Hawkeyes are playing the Iowa State Cycolones today, so I can't miss that)</div>

Here is a Crumb Cake colored one. I will list the supplies here for now, and then I will add the video once I get it done and edited.<br />
Thanks for stopping by! GO HAWKS!<br />

I am sad that summer is ending, but I try and think of all the positives that come with that. ( I will let you know when I figure those out).<br />
So, our last day at port was Victoria, BC. It was BEAUTIFUL! I had never thought of going to Canada, but I'm glad we did. The weather, once again, was perfect! I didn't get as many photos as I would have liked, but I'm not a flower garden person, so we chose not to do any excursions this port.<br />
We walked 3 miles into "town" from port. It was so nice outside and so pretty the whole way, so it didn't seem like it took us that long. So, the first stop was Fisherman's Wharf. It was so cute. All the floating homes. Really! There were people who LIVED there! I was in love with the tiny little houses. They even unhooked from the dock and could float out into the bay.<br />

This one is a Bed and Breakfast! How cool is this! However, I'm afraid it wouldn't be too cozy with all the tourists on that wharf everyday. It also was floating food places.<br />

I have 4 upcoming events in the next 10 days, plus I signed up for another swap for the Holiday catalog, so my mind is like a computer with 100 open tabs. lol<br />
So, our next port of call was Skagway. It was such a quaint little town surrounded by nothing but mountains! We didn't do any excursions this day because I wanted to just walk around and talk to locals and get a feel of Alaska. This was the town to do it in.<br />

Skageway is known for the Gold Rush. The museum was so fun to walk through and read all the articles and see the actual buildings that had significance from that time.<br />

This is where we had lunch. I didn't take a picture of the actual place due to the line. You wouldn't have been able to see it because of all the people. It was actually a food truck, but man, the fish and chips, (I chose Rockfish because I had never had it) and just delish!<br />

This is the White Pass Railroad. You could buy the tour by train up to the Yukon and see the whole mountainside and peaceful serenity of life outside of town. It was a 3.5 hour tour and I didn't want to sit any longer, I needed to be moving around. Next time I suppose.....<br />

We spent nearly the whole day out and about, but were tired when we got back to the ship. We left port at about 7pm and Mike started feeling sick, so he slept for 5 hours. I sat on our balcony with a cup of coffee and my Holiday Catalog and made my wish list. But I took a few pictures of the beauty that we were sailing past until it got too dark. </div>

So, here I am for the first time in MONTHS! I wanted to start back blogging with some of my pictures from the 2018 Stampin'Up! Incentive trip to Alaska! Oh my word! Had a blast and was SPOILED beyond anything I could have ever imagined. This was my first Grand incentive trip, so it was quite different than the Getaways that SU! have, that I earned. This one was GRAND in EVERY SINGLE WAY!<br />
First of all, the pillow gifts! Wowzer!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Each night on our bed, usually while we were at dinner, the stateroom attendant would come in an deliver them. It was awesome to come back with a surprise! And SU! spared NO expense. Stamps/bundles from the new Holiday catalog, a warm logo jacket, a GORGEOUS handbag, a foil map, a warm blanket a nice plaquard was on our door when we arrived with a photo of Alaska. It was amazing! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The first day was boarding and sailing out to Juneau. We got on our boat the Explorer of the Seas in Seattle around 1pm Friday and sailed all night and all day Saturday. And all I can say is I have NEVER been on a boat that is like a floating town! BEAUTIFUL!</div>

We got some demonstrations on new upcoming Holiday Catalog product and lots of FREE stuff from it! They shared a new concept to get new customers, how to entertain those who are already avid stampers. </div>

Hello! Hope you had a super Monday! I started a full time job today, first in 12 years, other than my SU! business so I'm going to be challenged a bit more to post on my blog. I will do my best to multi task now. Maybe it's what I need to post MORE. So, this is a card I demonstrated at my workshops in February. I started out layering Berry Burst and Lemon Lime card stock onto Whisper White. I then took a piece of the Picture Perfect DSP with the candles on it, (this pack has some great patterns!) and rolled it through the Big Shot using the FREE SAB Celebrate Thinlets(free with a $100 purchase).<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3hSyu3RPaf4NUiIHjytcgSGGovp1TCfB7cbOl-I93qhr7iBa6NInq6OcTuwnVI5pyveonhR0tBsTQGilXM_B-3HeZ9DIoFd5Uorac0ZPF4nyXvwqcQDUfk09kFq5fuCEJ6peUOJMNngR3/s1600/DSCF2582.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3hSyu3RPaf4NUiIHjytcgSGGovp1TCfB7cbOl-I93qhr7iBa6NInq6OcTuwnVI5pyveonhR0tBsTQGilXM_B-3HeZ9DIoFd5Uorac0ZPF4nyXvwqcQDUfk09kFq5fuCEJ6peUOJMNngR3/s320/DSCF2582.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I then added some Mini Dimensionals to the back of it ( I popped it out of the DSP first after cutting it) and then lined it back up and placed into it's cut out piece. I then added some of the FREE Ribbon that is offered during SAB too.<br />

Good Saturday morning! I've got lots this week to share. I've been on a hiatus for about 4 months with my blog. I have been battling some depression and kind of put my business on the back burner, more like low heat, because I just couldn't get out of the funk. So, I'm grateful for GREAT friends who host parties for me to stay active and doing what I love. This first project is a make and take from my last party. It's a Acetate Card Box cut in half ( you get two boxes this way)! BRILLIANT!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRe2av0AuMYMWdNynkkz7L6FbXSyU2RyKfp-23rsd6WRca-GwkxnNIXZ3yT6cri7_T0W7eMq835eSxm5EOp6xArt6fZGIuy3yBD0Lm7Fc429_InrO49ZM8ywiF1auO-hkcBfKCcNEW39M-/s1600/DSCF2577.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRe2av0AuMYMWdNynkkz7L6FbXSyU2RyKfp-23rsd6WRca-GwkxnNIXZ3yT6cri7_T0W7eMq835eSxm5EOp6xArt6fZGIuy3yBD0Lm7Fc429_InrO49ZM8ywiF1auO-hkcBfKCcNEW39M-/s320/DSCF2577.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I used the 2017-19 Patterns DSP pack (Powder Pink) to cut and make and insert for covering the box and it's treat inside. I added a piece of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper to the front for some extra weight. Then, I when I saw these sweet little embroidery hoops in the Occasions Catalog, I knew I would have them! I stamped out the bunny from the stamp set A Good Day and colored it with my Blender Pen and Crumb Cake ink (squished into the lid of the stamp pad) and the same with the Powder Pink ink for the bow. I punched it out and adhered it to the layer of Powder Pink cardstock to glue to the embroidery hoop. I added a piece of the 1/4" Copper Trim ribbon to the top.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiAFB_GzyvASVJa64lBkPqwKHMcKSOSdM767v3_E6j_LFXmx9CYa5UEki9QIH_LeYnzbwWyjtSPUnciTr9gdmowIuN5j5GmCKfs6MPgEXbbZmnZXWB4ZkUhRdvDAlbIDeUbre8Z8Ocqfd2/s1600/DSCF2578.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiAFB_GzyvASVJa64lBkPqwKHMcKSOSdM767v3_E6j_LFXmx9CYa5UEki9QIH_LeYnzbwWyjtSPUnciTr9gdmowIuN5j5GmCKfs6MPgEXbbZmnZXWB4ZkUhRdvDAlbIDeUbre8Z8Ocqfd2/s320/DSCF2578.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
Inside, I placed a white chocolate bunny that fit perfectly inside. I hope that I you can be inspired to make some of these quick and easy treat holders.<br />

Good Wednesday! I wanted to share some projects from a workshop I had on Monday night. I told my hostess that it's never too early to start thinking about Christmas, so I based her party on Christmas. This is the first card that I made. It is a color theme that I always love to use with snowflakes. Smokey Slate, Whisper White and Soft Sky and Real Red. I started by running the Snowflake Embossing Folder thorugh the Big Shot and flipping it over to the side that was inverted. I then wrapped some Smokey Slate Gingham ribbon around it and added a Year of Cheer embellishment to the ribbon before tying a bow.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdlyaaW8L7v4VsLhF1X2HRczv7N-olax7gyUyihgSulXrFB2tc_A_p8e4CPO1VnSQWs4Wa4vJu4IzJHQBSx4ifGZZfzUGJFIrS74gl73fTPpL8FpgEw6v0ONJg4ZEe4AYoP21vM8hWQHoG/s1600/DSCF2292.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdlyaaW8L7v4VsLhF1X2HRczv7N-olax7gyUyihgSulXrFB2tc_A_p8e4CPO1VnSQWs4Wa4vJu4IzJHQBSx4ifGZZfzUGJFIrS74gl73fTPpL8FpgEw6v0ONJg4ZEe4AYoP21vM8hWQHoG/s320/DSCF2292.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I stamped a Soft Sky Snowflake onto Whisper White Card stock and the the sentiment in Smokey Slate ink over the top and then punched it out using 11/4 Circle punch and then punching a Real Red one using the 1 1/2" Circle punch and then adhering them with Dimensionals to the front of the card. I added some Silver Faceted Dots on the corner too.<br />
Tommorrow, I will post the other card that I made.Jamie Hurleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18151468425784689968noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6328589444355529038.post-71709478245694309412017-08-24T14:24:00.003-05:002017-08-24T14:24:54.145-05:00Hostess Appreciation Party~<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Every 6 months or so, I host a Hostess Appreciation party for my Hostess Clubs. They mean the world to me and without them, I wouldn't really have much business. I love them all. So, I try and provide them with fun projects to make and take home, as my THANK YOU! This is one of the projects I had them make.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNeec2A6YAEQBlNPzicO-9ZmiY3XIboyyY5Gg2RYLwGf8V2Snd4anqsdySmZTNFCAHW-55X3gUSQF942wyjqWnQr9oML1RFnU1t-_OcqzTrIECqVdBWGA8pz9mYgtkFIK4xYQNmR3z0fIz/s1600/DSCF2029.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNeec2A6YAEQBlNPzicO-9ZmiY3XIboyyY5Gg2RYLwGf8V2Snd4anqsdySmZTNFCAHW-55X3gUSQF942wyjqWnQr9oML1RFnU1t-_OcqzTrIECqVdBWGA8pz9mYgtkFIK4xYQNmR3z0fIz/s320/DSCF2029.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
We ran another piece of Whisper White through the Big Shot using the new Woodlands Embossing Folder and then I had them use the Sponge Roller with Soft Suede Ink and cover the embossed side. Then I gave them the choice before assembling if they wanted the glass kept in or out. I kept mine in and just used hot glue to assemble the whole thing.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisUOP0kGCZHMbo8-qM9QM6_dZVS6C4jsoryz1vTztbKZ907db0IDopWQLeDljdGBIzFr7I6LkMYhugdCg88x4kD1SglVuoElJJtQ4kSvKSK2OR39btYKUVRQKcM4QwW2TwFFvfdNz11y1f/s1600/DSCF2030.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisUOP0kGCZHMbo8-qM9QM6_dZVS6C4jsoryz1vTztbKZ907db0IDopWQLeDljdGBIzFr7I6LkMYhugdCg88x4kD1SglVuoElJJtQ4kSvKSK2OR39btYKUVRQKcM4QwW2TwFFvfdNz11y1f/s320/DSCF2030.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I used the Bold Butterflies dies with Whisper White, Powder Pink and Calypso Coral card stock to make the flowers and butterflies. (The flowers are made from a retired die)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDC2KPQki7EYhKgP_TFiVMi8tIcttzavmBoBXp2RClwwB66RqL-3NLwqFUwXA4U4b-6LCJ2P83n_OAS_CIm_I9Z400OAJTT8pADdlUedesHTjmoQ2VCvkzXSGvUbg5eqFiueVBzuVJnywS/s1600/DSCF2031.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDC2KPQki7EYhKgP_TFiVMi8tIcttzavmBoBXp2RClwwB66RqL-3NLwqFUwXA4U4b-6LCJ2P83n_OAS_CIm_I9Z400OAJTT8pADdlUedesHTjmoQ2VCvkzXSGvUbg5eqFiueVBzuVJnywS/s320/DSCF2031.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
I had them put the new Glimmer Faceted gems in the center of the flowers to hide the hot glue.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwYcNHxZp5Pja1NzSvtH2BaapnU3tieCFEU4Vr2Cg_JrajvQnirlzKt-xc5uZEBw7_9_eFmb-aRTIVsPuV13dX662Eje6yzMu9NuW7VP8-i-5eIyCZiozeO9ZC8KM4ONNhbaYZRh-bBO86/s1600/DSCF2032.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwYcNHxZp5Pja1NzSvtH2BaapnU3tieCFEU4Vr2Cg_JrajvQnirlzKt-xc5uZEBw7_9_eFmb-aRTIVsPuV13dX662Eje6yzMu9NuW7VP8-i-5eIyCZiozeO9ZC8KM4ONNhbaYZRh-bBO86/s320/DSCF2032.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
We finished them up by heat embossing the sentiment from the stamp set Layering Love, in Gold embossing powder. I bought the frames online at Walmart.com. I hate to make it short, but I have my grandson coming over here soon. My husband and I were lucky enough to go to Hawaii for our 25th Anniversary in June. Not only did we not want to come back to reality, my husband who is a teacher seriously wanted to find a job while there, even joked about staying if he did. Well, reality is, it's too expensive to live there, but we plan to go back! So, while we were gone, we had some WONDERFUL friends that took care of our youngest daughter for a WHOLE WEEK! These are the cards that I made for them. They are pretty much the same other than the difference in color of paper. I used the Daisy Punch Bundle. I stamped the Daisies on vellum card stock with Versamark and then sprinkled them with Whisper White embossing powder and heated with my heat tool. I punched them, cut them in half and layered them to make them a little bit more full. I stamped the stems in Old Olive ink and then stamped the Thank you in the same color and then cut it out and flagged the ends. I adhered the flowers to the front of the card and then added the Faceted Glitter Dots in gold.<br />

The gold papers in the background of each one are from the new Bundle of Love Designer Specialty Series Paper Packs. THEY ARE AMAZING! The top one uses the Soft Sky card stock and the bottom ones are Blushing Bride card stock. The bottom one I ran a piece of Gold Satin Ribbon across to give it a pop.<br />

Hello everyone! I have been gone again for a long time. Life sometimes doesn't play fair, but for us, that's what we are used to I guess. The outcome was good, so I will not complain or go into detail, but I have tons of stuff to share with you in the coming days to play catch up.<br />
This past weekend I was part of a Back to School Vendor fair, it was in small town, and the crowd was not super fluent, so I came home with all of these! Well, I guess that makes it easier for me the first week of school, treats are already made. :)<br />
The pencils are Rolos and the erasers are snack size Kit Kats. I used all Stampin' Up! product that I could. They are time consuming, but they turned out really cute.<br />

Hello everyone! Today is a card that I made for a friend of ours, who thinks he is so funny. Well, he is, but we try not to inflate him too much. :) Kevin is his name, and since my daughter moved to Louisiana, he teases her when he sees her by talking in "swamp people" talk. He actually is very good at it, but as I said, we try not to "encourage" him- LOL! So, I wanted to make him a funny card and this is what I came up with. I started by free handing the shape of an alligator, and then cutting it out of Old Olive card stock. I ran it through the Big Shot with an embossing folder that I cannot recall the name at this point- but it's retired. I then also used another retired product, the Banner Punch, for punching out his teeth. I used 1/2" circle punch for his nose and eyes.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvA496D30miec1wzLo3prhMvEfrIzgZVEypidejHYGGVJkkAUokockykFbqjtoFOG2V30bpyiZL1sT2YtambGXwUpvB9n_1MAZ8OOG95zYxmvz59baHNo6u8kbKu9yMTtf5aSLThOnIzZ-/s1600/DSCF0758.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvA496D30miec1wzLo3prhMvEfrIzgZVEypidejHYGGVJkkAUokockykFbqjtoFOG2V30bpyiZL1sT2YtambGXwUpvB9n_1MAZ8OOG95zYxmvz59baHNo6u8kbKu9yMTtf5aSLThOnIzZ-/s320/DSCF0758.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
For the inside, I just cut a long piece of Crumb Cake Striped Grosgrain(retired also) ribbon to resemble his tongue and then printed out some Swamp People (television series) clip art and taped it to the inside. I turned out cute and he liked it.<br />
Well, I'm off to card class all day. I have one more day until I leave for Hawaii and so I may not be back for a bit.<br />

Here it is folks. Finally, the last card that I made for a customer. I used my favorite color combo (well for purple anyway- I don't care much for purple). I used Wisteria Wonder, Soft Sky and Whisper White.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I stamped the circles in the background with the stamp set Playful Backgrounds stamp set in Wisteria.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhxiF_pyHiEzcy_jBYEHJ_zXoUUUReuxkMqsuPbcUaHOPARgnOC1pDCgmpaNBZHQLhxTS9WpMkve4WQ4pRzyQWSLGftTPo48Bk5_ZrDUUjn37KPo6eEoArcMhaHaImz_bvRCrQwOMhVr_h/s1600/DSCF0776.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhxiF_pyHiEzcy_jBYEHJ_zXoUUUReuxkMqsuPbcUaHOPARgnOC1pDCgmpaNBZHQLhxTS9WpMkve4WQ4pRzyQWSLGftTPo48Bk5_ZrDUUjn37KPo6eEoArcMhaHaImz_bvRCrQwOMhVr_h/s320/DSCF0776.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For the celebrate panel, I ran my Happy Celebrations embossing folder through the Big Shot and while the paper was still in the folder, I took the dot stamp from Big Celebrations stamp set and stamped over the word with Soft Sky ad Wisteria Wonder. I then took it out of the folder and stampe the other sentiment. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I finished it off with Soft Sky and Smokey Slate ribbons. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Well, I am in the process of finishing up Father's Day cooking, so I hope you have a father or someone who is like a father to you to celebrate this glorious day with! </div>

So, here I am today! I have another one of the cards I was asked to make. I did this one in one of the new In Colors 2017-19 Powder Pink and then with Soft Suede and Whisper White. I stamped out the balloons in the Powder Pink Ink onto Whisper White card stock and then again on a scrap piece and cut it out using the matching framelit and then cutting out two clouds also using the dies that coordinate with this stamp set. I then stamped a retired stamp set, in which is completely is not coming to mind right now and I'm not in range of looking.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDQRGq_cL-Gu1FvrExsdGokkBUhXK8Mx8NMVIOG5pGhh6CF0u2ah3E-jVHRyhFxFh8YguMIP4_wdL17nD2d2To28_TnwSTErs9w3hlTuqp8OchENeN76si6caf5dHPxebZkdZEH3YUUNDy/s1600/DSCF0772.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDQRGq_cL-Gu1FvrExsdGokkBUhXK8Mx8NMVIOG5pGhh6CF0u2ah3E-jVHRyhFxFh8YguMIP4_wdL17nD2d2To28_TnwSTErs9w3hlTuqp8OchENeN76si6caf5dHPxebZkdZEH3YUUNDy/s320/DSCF0772.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
I tied a piece of Smokey Slate Thick Baker's twine around it all. Well there is two down and one to go. I will be back soon to post the last one.<br />

Hello everyone! I have some cards the next couple of days that I have made for retirements and birthdays. I will apologize in advance that this one and one other uses one retired stamp set (the "celebrate" sentiment) because I needed something to make the card pop and this was the perfect size. So, I made this pretty simply. I used two layers of Whisper White cardstock. On the front layer, I stamped out the clouds from the stamp set Up and Away in Soft Sky and then one more on a scrap and cut it out using the Up and Away Framelits. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNe8TWWhT13Lt3FKKXEmIJFqMgFlJbY-MDjLMYJPTaPaJQsMPg4iSvq0FrxCYfeBan-uamHH4gAzbACkIZqGc9UCvGEzyemivdYn6o39heNT5I4tTobhSgv11_vXx8vLWlbfVfzgaYqfSo/s1600/DSCF0769.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNe8TWWhT13Lt3FKKXEmIJFqMgFlJbY-MDjLMYJPTaPaJQsMPg4iSvq0FrxCYfeBan-uamHH4gAzbACkIZqGc9UCvGEzyemivdYn6o39heNT5I4tTobhSgv11_vXx8vLWlbfVfzgaYqfSo/s320/DSCF0769.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I cut out the square using the Stitched Shapes dies and cut it out of Crumb Cake card stock. I stamped the hot air balloon in Real Red on Real Red card stock and cut it out with the matching die.I tied some Night of Navy Baker's Twine behind it before adhering it to the card. I popped both the hot hair ballon and the cloud up using Dimensionals. I finished off that part by using a Soft Subtle Enamel shape(heart) on the front of the balloon.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqtcl9Q59FF3JQ15fyKTl1NbnayY93O08Pejdk27Eei1WWL0XJS5YGbIaOicaycZFZUofrHPYTvyBR2c78DW1AfCIQIn2sdsCX3JRfwg-BhNWz6bLLPLZD1mYCg1w7RzeHabDOMBowLGXE/s1600/DSCF0770.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqtcl9Q59FF3JQ15fyKTl1NbnayY93O08Pejdk27Eei1WWL0XJS5YGbIaOicaycZFZUofrHPYTvyBR2c78DW1AfCIQIn2sdsCX3JRfwg-BhNWz6bLLPLZD1mYCg1w7RzeHabDOMBowLGXE/s320/DSCF0770.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
And here's the retired "celebrate". I stamped it in Real Red and then stamped the other sentiment from the stamp set Happy Celebrations in Basic Black ink onto Crumb Cake card stock and just fussy cut it out. <br />
I'm leaving for Hawaii in 7 days! I will do my best at getting the rest of my cards blogged for you before I go.<br />

So, here is how we set up her party, a lot of it is handmade. She wanted it to be a vintage theme so we did the best we could.<br />

When you husband is a teacher and he brings home lots of Graduation invites, well, as a stamper, you HAVE to make the cards! This is only a portion of what I made, but I loved making them.<br />

Our school colors are Orange and Black, so I just decided to do that for all of them. I used Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White card stock and Silver Glimeer paper(for the squiggle). There's a few products going on here. I cut the squiggles using the Swirly Bird Framelits and attaching with the Fine Tip Glue Pen. I cut the numbers from the Large Numbers Framelits out of Basic Black card stock and used the same adhesive.<br />

I stamped the Congratulations using the stamp set One Wild Ride and stamped in Momento Black Ink. I punched out stars using a retiring punch from Pumpkin Pie..<br />
We too, had a graduate in the house and she actually got her credits early, so she was done with school in January, but flew back from her new home in Loiusianna to walk with her class!<br />

I'm sharing with you the Graduation invites I made for my daughter who will graduate in one month. She wanted to do a vintage theme party, because it's so her in all reality, so I decided to make her invites instead of purchasing them from the company that makes them. I used the Blushing Bride and Very Vanilla and Gold theme. I cut two panels from Detailed Floral Framelits from Stampin' Up, did some scoring and then adhered it to another piece of Blushing Bride card stock that was folded in half. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGZyZyZO6Fn67XbqSfPj_qld3tgPpud0V2u5ZTDnl6YlW69IukakafqVtHMAr0-j8AER2plAUibLA9XoCBA9QfGcFH48N64VAVqFc-CdWuZd_iRCPqfFF4jruFxyKHTqtTnbeZ_2RBTuh4/s1600/DSCF0342.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGZyZyZO6Fn67XbqSfPj_qld3tgPpud0V2u5ZTDnl6YlW69IukakafqVtHMAr0-j8AER2plAUibLA9XoCBA9QfGcFH48N64VAVqFc-CdWuZd_iRCPqfFF4jruFxyKHTqtTnbeZ_2RBTuh4/s320/DSCF0342.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I then printed off her party info and adhered it to the front of the folded piece and tied it shut. I actually think I stripped the gears in my Big Shot doing nearly 100 of these, but it was worth it to make them. She has overcome lots of obstacles to get here and I wanted her to feel that we were proud of her. <br />
I will post after graduation all the decorations that I made to go with her party. Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to go check out the RETIRING GOODS here:<br />

Man! Where oh where has time gone? Either the days are flying by or I'm slacking...okay, maybe a little of both..lol</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So, I thought I'd better squeeze in some Easter projects (better late than never) before the big day. I am sharing some workshop projects and a project from my big event I hosted in March. </div>

This first one is a make and take I offered at a March workshop. I am in love with the Basket Builder Bundle. (Say that more than 3 times). I think this one will stay in my stash for a while. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I did the little basket that holds a small treat (found on Pinterest) and a 3x3 card with handmade envelope. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcQXxkb1SYl5xYWwKwxJP5to8sSnDIE295_7o1DqPfGZioZZWxq_CkPfKGci7hG68TSrRjc6PdQnGKVKXjYBgDT4XPX8YAD8WlNoh45_HSxZlVbuWghD_t7ixqnYqhnBbCiI7whR6Omhea/s1600/DSCF0343.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcQXxkb1SYl5xYWwKwxJP5to8sSnDIE295_7o1DqPfGZioZZWxq_CkPfKGci7hG68TSrRjc6PdQnGKVKXjYBgDT4XPX8YAD8WlNoh45_HSxZlVbuWghD_t7ixqnYqhnBbCiI7whR6Omhea/s320/DSCF0343.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I used the Envelope Punch Board to make the envelope and am using up some retiring DSP from the 2015-17 Pattern Paper Stack- Watermelon Wonder. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXP5YHgmkkuqKRbvJKfPjCEFSlhxJc4c6PloYNQnjwj1HtOx_KB_KQxO3HAibrQV50qesSZcwUF7Xz3y-FP0SbK8IBI0WxususrQISRjRTQ0kGINAJUUKccx4dua41iTgHgXB_Ks7rOrut/s1600/DSCF0345.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXP5YHgmkkuqKRbvJKfPjCEFSlhxJc4c6PloYNQnjwj1HtOx_KB_KQxO3HAibrQV50qesSZcwUF7Xz3y-FP0SbK8IBI0WxususrQISRjRTQ0kGINAJUUKccx4dua41iTgHgXB_Ks7rOrut/s320/DSCF0345.JPG" width="180" /></a></div>
The basket holds a Cadbury Caramel Egg just perfectly. The baskets are easy peasy to make. It actually took longer to cut out the grass, bow and bunny than it did to put the basket together.<br />

This adorable Easter egg crate was a project that my convention attendees made and took home. I used the So Succulent DSP and made a belly band. Then wrapped a piece of the Gold 1/8" Ribbon around it, loosely, into a bow. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJ7u29xiNiFyZptuF0bdff7GGLM5VznZR-MhK_X-UtCDnQVfYfMPB9VwqTjRbD1U6H3f3v5qmPQKCgH5ppyJJHmFEnYkr0-8rew9NHcCU1VAW8PywH2WhVPDybCupGLL1m-Uzm8lMjSAgi/s1600/DSCF0349.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJ7u29xiNiFyZptuF0bdff7GGLM5VznZR-MhK_X-UtCDnQVfYfMPB9VwqTjRbD1U6H3f3v5qmPQKCgH5ppyJJHmFEnYkr0-8rew9NHcCU1VAW8PywH2WhVPDybCupGLL1m-Uzm8lMjSAgi/s320/DSCF0349.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I cut out a basket in Whisper White, the bunny in Chocolate Chip, the two eggs in Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo, the grass in Pear Pzazz. I had them glue the pieces to the underside of the basket and then added another cut out basket to the backside.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBqdiqhBRYUIHv1qSyx_3KldvMiJGG3Lr8OmMum5rg5fTtOMyVewyW09XGUGqP7UsaaGCU-X0lMKYTgQQ_qOFfJWjbTbu71Rag9l4er49i4dU0_HYvL9c4eY6u4XOTH-HNYx5F0q616yMt/s1600/DSCF0350.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBqdiqhBRYUIHv1qSyx_3KldvMiJGG3Lr8OmMum5rg5fTtOMyVewyW09XGUGqP7UsaaGCU-X0lMKYTgQQ_qOFfJWjbTbu71Rag9l4er49i4dU0_HYvL9c4eY6u4XOTH-HNYx5F0q616yMt/s320/DSCF0350.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
On the inside, I had them stamp and cut out the "peep" and chocolate bunny and attach them to toothpicks with hot glue. I love the sentiment from the stamp set. I had them stamp that onto Whisper White using Chocolate Chip ink and then punch out with the Wide Oval Punch and adhere to a toothpick as well. To help them stay up in the crate, we used hot glue in the bottom of the crate and then stuck them into it, stuffing paper shreds around it for added support.<br />

We had a great time and I plan to have another in October centered around Christmas! Well, I'm off to dye some eggs. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday with family! Hello Tuesday! Just wanted to share one of our cards from class this month. This one is bright and spirited and think this is one of my new favorite color combos. Crushed Curry, Watermelon Wonder and black. I used the Oh So Succulent stamp set to stamp the flowers from in Crushed Curry and Watermelon Wonder inks. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgm4h92vexuYPfynX8GKJCpNV066RYsmr0SeITTw4d66KzrYUUv83XxJtFMc9MVahp5Ntd-NSMpelRufjZdu4MoKVEcWrYk2R2lIsU2aFBuni91c2gNvh2ogtahOrAXD7a2dbV1iuqbivsT/s1600/DSCF0242.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgm4h92vexuYPfynX8GKJCpNV066RYsmr0SeITTw4d66KzrYUUv83XxJtFMc9MVahp5Ntd-NSMpelRufjZdu4MoKVEcWrYk2R2lIsU2aFBuni91c2gNvh2ogtahOrAXD7a2dbV1iuqbivsT/s320/DSCF0242.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I used the FREE Salebration offering called So Very Much and stamped it in Basic Black ink. I love how big the word is because so many times, I want to make a nice card to say thank you and this one is nice to have big and bold! I finished it up by punching out half circles with my 1/2" circle punches on each side and wrapped Linen Thread around it and tied a knot. <br />
Next post will be some more cards from February card classes.Jamie Hurleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18151468425784689968noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6328589444355529038.post-15772310514665330812017-02-24T08:35:00.000-06:002017-02-24T08:35:36.209-06:00Happy Celebrations<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

So, here we are again! Today I am sharing with you a fun and quick card that I did at the same workshops this week- I had TWO (2) WORKSHOPS IN ONE WEEK! Yay! Anyway, I started with some fun, fresh colors. I used Watermelon Wonder as a base and then layered Peekaboo Peach on top of that. To achieve this technique, I ran the Whisper White through the Big Shot using the Celebrations Duo (<span id="lblItemNumber">142760) embossing folder with the word Celebration on Whisper White card stock, and then the key to this technique is to LEAVE THE PAPER ON THE FOLDER and then use the two dot stamps from the Happy Celebrations stamp set and stamp directly onto the paper. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQaee7NXfoFRW0-tJbiWTKEmyTdkTplvTZEIU8T7Tayi9gumLZO2Ota6UTpi8Taza4TBjAitwFHAsMB0jDIhXsvqEiLFK3MCXHBGbi0zwouv7x6fZdyRLY7nmd4ym8oK_0U828_1twf9Jx/s1600/DSCF0226.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQaee7NXfoFRW0-tJbiWTKEmyTdkTplvTZEIU8T7Tayi9gumLZO2Ota6UTpi8Taza4TBjAitwFHAsMB0jDIhXsvqEiLFK3MCXHBGbi0zwouv7x6fZdyRLY7nmd4ym8oK_0U828_1twf9Jx/s320/DSCF0226.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I used the larger dot with Watermelon Wonder and then the smaller one in Peekaboo Peach and Crushed Curry. Then I wrapped it twice with the Crushed Curry Baker's Twine and tied a bow. Then I stamped out the words from the same stamp set in Whisper White ink onto Dapper Denim cardstock and trimmed the ends and popped it up with Dimensionals.<br />
Well, I'm off for dental appointments and checkups. Have a wonderful Friday!Jamie Hurleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18151468425784689968noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6328589444355529038.post-84793823078694350272017-02-23T09:55:00.001-06:002017-02-23T09:55:10.239-06:00Window Box Bundle~<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Good Thursday everyone! Again, where has this week gone? Wasn't it just Monday? Anyway, I had a wonderful workshop this past weekend with wonderful ladies. My hostess asked me if I could show this adorable Window Box bundle. And of course, I needed to get it out and play with it, actually, more like justifying my purchase-lol. So, I cut it out using Calypso Coral card stock (you need two pieces to make the box as intended), and then ran one through using the pretty detailed die that also comes in the set, through the top piece and assembled the box as directed.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAe3J5AQifYJQCOQJvu9me-GMVxYAG4Qr0K4yBmMAUUi7-GDNIxDsh-O45p-8sjWS0L_bBUSlR_Py9YNWGbN-9HCqhplJgh5vhKcqRGLibtr3cwn0sErVIrBxhlKqbG_0ZlbhtYKQYs2hv/s1600/DSCF0216.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAe3J5AQifYJQCOQJvu9me-GMVxYAG4Qr0K4yBmMAUUi7-GDNIxDsh-O45p-8sjWS0L_bBUSlR_Py9YNWGbN-9HCqhplJgh5vhKcqRGLibtr3cwn0sErVIrBxhlKqbG_0ZlbhtYKQYs2hv/s320/DSCF0216.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Then I pulled out my Bold Butterflies die and cut the butterfly from the Cupcakes and Carousels DSP stack (<span id="lblItemNumber">142744) from the Occasions Catalog and used my Mono Multi glue to adhere it. I added some pearls to make it pop. For the banner, I used the little die inside the bundle to make this 3D. It cuts and scores it for you! And then from the coordinating stamp set, Window Shopping (<span id="lblItemNumber">143265) I stamped out the "friend" in Crushed Curry onto Whisper White.</span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDcGUjSvkvb0W3n60IhVywgi2cb4qLuzVgN-_hxFnXRcvoevpEBbNVWyu19RD-ZjRJ2e856b3WhjAQA9fN8JK1q1Q1ARxAubT2VWdDf_I1KliAqlSDPlb3tc-h7NGvRO_ABdLA-Aoj8Mgd/s1600/DSCF0217.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDcGUjSvkvb0W3n60IhVywgi2cb4qLuzVgN-_hxFnXRcvoevpEBbNVWyu19RD-ZjRJ2e856b3WhjAQA9fN8JK1q1Q1ARxAubT2VWdDf_I1KliAqlSDPlb3tc-h7NGvRO_ABdLA-Aoj8Mgd/s320/DSCF0217.JPG" width="180" /></a></div>
And then of course, I used FREE ribbon from the Salebration selections! LOVE this ribbon! It is so soft and easy to tie. I made this box into a tea light decoration. I sold tons!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgv8HWFVJP9B_ohG391xk7DIaNUR6-56P_7e6maLIxtmgwWn1Vz9p4JY7SFBPXmNvyRsjnwMm54puY3h-b39r5JqvtvbPJf-srLHr7Krs5aUT-aDrxTZpZv2hA1T70511319yr7o4Huo0Sc/s1600/DSCF0218.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgv8HWFVJP9B_ohG391xk7DIaNUR6-56P_7e6maLIxtmgwWn1Vz9p4JY7SFBPXmNvyRsjnwMm54puY3h-b39r5JqvtvbPJf-srLHr7Krs5aUT-aDrxTZpZv2hA1T70511319yr7o4Huo0Sc/s320/DSCF0218.JPG" width="180" /></a></div>
So, I wanted to showcase the fact that all of our bundles that are 3D boxes, bags etc. the stamps can be used for cards as well. So, here are a couple of cards that I made from the same stamp set and DSP stack. Trying to show them that they can make more than just what something is intended for so that their money goes further. The first card, above, is using the same stamp set, dies, DSP and Bold Butterflies die sets. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOUsUt0gxLvm6bLS1z522MGXLkRksNp7AZX_q0KtDucyMMJ6bHq90mr2sC1hg633PS22fHjUC-bkB1_EPFzwrzSudi7eZUQzLK5biKO-D4-ug7DX575jL5v7CeaQ_mifyX5tMGLybdLMza/s1600/DSCF0222.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOUsUt0gxLvm6bLS1z522MGXLkRksNp7AZX_q0KtDucyMMJ6bHq90mr2sC1hg633PS22fHjUC-bkB1_EPFzwrzSudi7eZUQzLK5biKO-D4-ug7DX575jL5v7CeaQ_mifyX5tMGLybdLMza/s320/DSCF0222.JPG" width="180" /></a></div>
This one I cut the candles directly out of the front of the card and put a piece of the Cupcakes and Carousels DSP behind it and then another down underneath it on the front of the card. I used the Happy Birthday from the same stamp as well. (There's that FREE ribbon again!)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Good Saturday morning! I'm excited to say that today I am cropping all day with some friends, so I wanted to get this post up before they get here. This is a class I offered this month for Valentines Day. My customers order the Sending Love Bundle plus the Designer Series Paper and got to make these projects for free. <br />

I saw this on the SU! website and changed out the colors to my favorite-red! It's the Baker's Box made to look like a mailbox. I cut and assembled the box and then added the flag using just a flat toothpick and a piece of Whisper White flag with a heart punched out using the Owl Builder Punch. I stamped the Love out on Soft Sky and added to the front of the box that I had decorated with a piece of the Sending Love DSP. <br />

The bag is my favorite for a couple of reasons. One, I love coffee and these bags remind me of coffee..lol- no really, it's because they are so nice to have on hand for quick gift giving. Two, they hold ALOT of candy (or coffee). I cut a piece of 2 x 6 DSP from the stack and flagged the end with the Banner Duo Punch. I assembled an envelope from the die set and then cut two hearts, one in Crushed Curry and one in Island Indigo and stuck them inside the envelope. I punched out a Silver Glimmer heart using the Large Heart Punch and tied the bow on the front. I used a Gold Binder clip to hold the bag shut and the tag on. <br />

Lastly is the cute little note card and envelope. I figured you need a card to give with gifts, so why not. I started with a 3x6 piece of DSP and folded it in half. Then layered up another piece, contrasting the first one, and then Whisper White. I used all the stamps and dies from the Bundle to finish it off and also used one of the Wooden Love Embellishments. I made the envelope with the Envelope Punch Board.<br />
Well, sorry so short, but I need to go pull out my Project Life boxes and start working!Jamie Hurleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18151468425784689968noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6328589444355529038.post-77414137958115030892017-02-09T11:06:00.002-06:002017-02-09T11:07:36.134-06:00Sending Love Card~<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Happy Thursday! I'm gonna make this short and sweet as I am busy today with card class out of town tonight and working on some upcoming workshop projects. This is not my original idea. I cannot remember whose blog I saw this on, but I wanted to share it with my customers last weekend at a workshop, so I did one of my own. This is a fun bundle and Valentine's is one of my favorite holidays(is a holiday?-lol) so I jumped on this bundle quick! So, for this particular die, the hearts that go down in a strip, are meant to be a "border" die, it cuts off at the edge of your paper and leaves a neat edge of hearts. (See my blog post from Feb. 1st for a photo of what I mean). In this case, you don't want them to fall away from each other, so I cut my paper longer than the die so it stays in tacked. I just ran it through 4 times onto Whisper White. <br />

For the colored paper underneath, I cut a piece of Watercolor Paper and scribbled my Watercolor Pencils, Calypso Coral and Melon Mambo in swatches back and forth, then using my Aqua Painters, blended it all together. ( I wish I would have taken a photo of this step) I let it dry completely, then I laid the panel of hearts on top of it, trimmed around it and adhered it to a piece of Basic Black card stock and then to my base of Whisper White.<br />

I cut out the adorable envelopes from Melon Mambo and Calypso Coral and then stamped the little insert and stuck it in the one envelope, I added a cute little clip to the side of the Melon Mambo one. I adhered some of the FREE Ribbon from Salebration to the backs of the envelopes. I used Dimensionals to stick it down to the front of the card so it wouldn't squish down the hearts. I gotta run for now, hope to be back soon to finish up this workshop showcase before the next one. Have a great rest of your week!Jamie Hurleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18151468425784689968noreply@blogger.com1
