Cheep Talk

This is another card for card night this month. I love this little bird and I thought I would do it in a pastel color theme for something different.

Happiness is a Journey

This is one of the cards we made at card class Thursday night. I encourage anyone with boys to get this set before it is gone in June. It is simple to use and says all boy! And what do you think of that polka dot paper? That is just one design in the Sweet Slumber Specialty paper that were new in the catalog this year.

Cheers to You for Kristi

This is the birthday card I made for Kristi (one of my friends here in Keo) last week. If you look close at the next picture, Iused our Chunky Glitter to "rim" the glass as sugar.

Paper Bead Necklace and Box

This is my submission for the "For Mama/Pappa" contest at Stampin'UP! I made the paper beads from Sweet Always DSP and the "pendant" from Shrink Plastic. I then proceeded to try and string regular beads on and well, let's just stick with papercrafting, not jewlery making......

I made the box for it to go into as well. We shall see what they think out there in Utah...:)

Easter Bunny Mailbox

I have had this white mini mailbox from Target dollar spot for 2 years now and it wasn't until a recent visit to Cedar Rapids that I bought the fluffy boa to glue to it. I have had this idea in my head for awhile now and believe me, those boa feathers are a doozy to work with. They are everywhere in my stamp room.

Soot Stamping Card

Okay, so yesterday my sister drove all the way down to my house to stamp and wouldn't you know that all those thunderstorms that passed through here.......we lost power for 1 1/2 hours. BUT, we made a bad situation good. I have wanted to try soot stamping technique for years now and since the weather brought a power outage, well, I lit a candle and VIOLA! I had the excuse to try it.

Now this was my second attempt at it, my 3rd and 4th, well, let's just say, I learned why you should do it with lights on.....the flame caught the edge a couple of times.........
