Okay, so this was made out of our Pretties Kit and Vanilla Hodgepode Hardware kit and some stamping and ribbon. It is an actual necklace that unattaches from the card. I entered it in a card magazine contest, but no word......
I joined a swap that combined the BigShot and the New Occasions Mini that will begin on April 1st. I used the new Oval All stamp set (mini) and the NEW SCALLOPED OVAL punch (mini), Daisey's #2 die, Basic Gray Courdouroy Buttons (mini), A Walk in the Park DSP, and the new Circle Cutter from SU!
One of the perks of being a SU! demo is the wonderful monthly "newsletters" (more like a mini with business stuff) we get. This last month they featured this cute swing card, so I replicated it and we made it at card night this month.
Since tommorrow is my first class and everyone who is going to sign up has, I thought I would post the picutures of the projects we are making. We are using 6 different dies to make 5 non card projects. I hope they like them.......
Okay, hopefully Diane won't have time to look at my blog with that new baby and all, but I finished making some gifts for her with my BigShot and some stamps. I am going to showcase these this weekend at my stamp camp using the BigShot and show the adaptability it has other than cards.........I used felt for the headbands and the onesis. Oh and I made a name frame for her too.
Here is another card we did for card night this month. It is using the set Botanical Blooms in which you can have for FREE until March 31st with the purchase of $50 in Stampin' UP! merchandise..........
I am a SAHM and I have 4 girls and two adorable grandsons. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 22 years. I have been a Stampin'Up! demonstrator for 11 years. Along with stamping, I try to scrapbook and love spending time with family and friends.
