Flight of the Butterfly Birthday

I made this for a little girl who has a birthday this month. I like how it turned out.

A Rose is a Rose in a grid

I got a great swap card last year at convention made by Sharon Bridwell from Texas and she used the Pretty Peonies(which retired-boo hoo) so I decided to use a Rose is a Rose stamp set (in which I chose as one of my 3 FREE any price stamp sets from sales during SAB) and make a grid with my paper cutter using the scoring blade.

Masked Wheeling

I did this technique a while back where you punch out several random circles out of a piece of cardstock and then set it on top of your paper and wheel over it. Then sponge inside (lightly) the circles to finish it off. I LOVE this technique and wanted to use some stamps that I haven't used alot and need too.

Flower Pot Suckers

I found the directions for these in my stash of "to try" pile. It is a great way to use up some of those hostess paper packs. You can get three of them out of one sheet.

Wild About You!

I made this card for my nephew Caleb who shares a birthday with my daughter. He turned 10 on Monday and I realized how challanged I am to make cards for boys.(I have 4 girls). I have no idea if this was age appropriate for a 10 year old, but I hope he liked it.
