Good Morning Sunshine Cupcake

This is another entry I made for a SU! contest recently and haven't heard back........I made it from a styrofoam ball and punched out circles and hot glued them to the ball, then used a piece of cardstock and DSP for the "cake paper" and ran it through the crimper. Then used the technique from convention last year(the ribbon flower thingy) to make the "whipped topping" on top. Then I made a box to send it in........and once again, not a winner at SU! Oh bother (spoken in my best Pooh Bear voice)

Only Orange

I submitted this to SU! in the Only Orange contest, didn't hear anything yet, so I believe it is safe to "publish". Nothing fancy, just all orange.

Canvas Photo "frame"

I had this idea churning for awhile now in my head. So, I decided to paint it with acrylic paints, and then using a dauber, I put on the green polkadots. Then I added a couple of flowers from the Pretties Kit and a half back pearl. Then I stamped on the bottom right hand corner one of the sayings from Simply Said stamp set. Then punched out some photo corners with my photo corner punch. I will eventually add some 5/8" celery ribbon, but am not sure what I should use yet that will be strong enough to hold it while hanging.

Under the Stars fancy fold

I was playing around with this set the other day and was looking for a different fold and this is what I came up with. I added the hearts with Dimensionals and then added linen thread just beind the outer ones and attached to "his hands".

Sock Cupcake and box

Okay, so I saw these sock cupcakes on Lauren Meaders blog, but never got a chance to try them until my friend Julia (stampin4smiles) finally had the patience to help me learn.:) So, I tried my hand at them, at they still need some practicing. Anyway, I used a recycled REINKER box for the little cupcake box. I made two of them, one for my Bella Sistah and one for a childhood friend that is going through colon-rectal cancer. I hope they enjoy them.....

Box #2 mini caddy

I made this out of the Box #2 and Sweet Slumber DSP, I added some tealights and some chocolate. I think I will use it as a hostess gift or a doorprize...............................
