Fancy Fold Card #2-Slider Card

Oh my ladies and gents..I promised and couldn't keep it...I cannot believe how busy this summer has been.  It's been a good busy as I said before, but time really is flying and I hate that.  I did get to spend time with family so far, and that's the most important, but my apologies, ONCE AGAIN, for not keeping up my blog.  Maybe once school starts, it will be easier?
So, on with the good stuff.....
Here is card number two from my Fancy/Fun Folds class.  It is the Slider card by Dawn Griffith and it's super easy peasey!
Again, we used the 2015-17 In Colors and the Cherry on Top DSP stack for these cards.  **I am sorry for the poorer quality of pictures, it's hard to photograph cards with moving parts...
Here is the card in the down position....
Here it is with the slider pulled up...
And this is just a close up of the "slider mechanism" decoration. I used the Sweet Stack stamp set in the In Colors.

Fancy/Fun Folds Class #5!

So, you may wonder what #5 means...well, every year, I put on a Fancy/Fun Folds class(which ends up mostly being FUN folds) and my customers love it, this happened to be my 5th class of this type.  This one might have been my favorite class of all. This is a Spinner Card that I adapted from Deb Valders video tutorial, it is my favorite card of the class.  I used the Fabulous Four stamp set and the polka dots are from the Works of Art.  I stamped the polka dots in Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush randomly over Whisper White cardstock.  I layered that onto Pool Party and Delightful Dijon card stock.
I made the pinwheel from the Cherry On Top DSP Stack. Love this stack! So bright and cheery!
I stamped the sentiment in Momento Black in and made the pull string from Delightful Dijon card stock.
Come back to see the other 3 cards that we made in the next couple of days.
Thanks for stoppin' in! Have a great Friday!

JUNE STAMP CLASSES-Playing catchup!

Oh wow! Where has this summer gone? I just have been so busy that I didn't even post since June 7th! And those were cards from a MAY class..LOL! Well, I hope I am getting back on track and will be able to post some more, often.
So, I am going to just post my June card class cards all at once since I'm so far behind and no need to get further behind at this point, so pardon me for the big post of pictures.  If you have any questions, please leave a comment and I will get back to you as I feel that if I type out all of the details it may be a while longer before you see anything else..lol.
So, here they are:

My next blog post will be the Fun/Fancy Folds class I recently hosted.
Thanks for stopping by!

More Guy Greetings~ Card #3 Masculine Card Class

So, here is number three of the 5 that we made.  It starts out with a Smokey Slate base and then a layer of Whisper White that was ran through the Big Shot with the Argyle folder(now retired). I cut a piece of Adventure Bound DSP from the Stack (now retired), and placed it on the backside of this white piece and cut down 3/4"ish the way and then folded back to make the collar. I used the Bow Builder Punch to make the bow tie from Island Indigo card stock.
I used another piece of the DSP and cut it into a banner and stamped the Happy Birthday from the Guy Greetings set in Momento Black ink and added a Silver Metal Button to it.  It is a very simple card.
All of our cards were easy to change out to a different greeting as I have some customers no longer have a father to give cards to, etc. It worked out fantastic with this stamp set! I will be doing more man like cards with it for sure!

Guy Greetings~ Card #2 Masculine Card Class

So here is card number 2 of our class.  I started out using Basic Black for the base and layering it with Smokey Slate that I stamped with the hats stamps in Momento Black ink randomly over the top half of it.  I wrapped a piece of Black Chevron ribbon (retired and not happy about it...)just below where I stopped stamping.  I layered another piece of Basic Black card stock with Vanilla Naturals cardstock that was stamped with the car, the Happy Birthday and the Dad stamps from the Guy Greetings stamp set,  in Momento Black ink.
I added 6 Silver Brads to the bottom to finish it off. Well, 3 more to go and then I will start getting you excited for NEW stuff from the NEW catalog.

Masculine Card Class

I recently had some customers give me an idea for a card class because I'm just not sending out the masculine cards much, so I decided to just host a class on nothing but manly cards.  This first card is a CASE of sorts ( I have my own touches on it) from Mary Fish.  The mustache die retired yesterday, and I plan to actually keep hold of it because it is just too nuetral to use for so many things. I used lots of Gold Glimmer paper on this card, and I was wearing it all the way home.  It's a simple card, so I won't go into details, but the Newsprint DSP (the banner underneath all the layers) and the "father" sentiment, which comes from Guy Greetings are still available in the NEW Catalog that went LIVE YESTERDAY!  Contact me if you need one or if you can't wait to see it, I have a link here on my blog in the upper right hand side that is page by page, so you can view it online by flipping each page!
