First of all, using GROSGRAIN ribbon, start your ribbon at one end using a clothespin to hold while you wrap around a wooden dowel (or in my case a BBQ skewer-okay, I am trying to be resourceful!). Place a clothespin to hold in place while wrapping. Then when you get to the end of the "dowel", place the another clothespin. Do this for 9 dowels. (I didn't in this example, but now know why you should)
