In a preheated 275 degree oven, either line your baking rack with foil or if you don't have any foil, use a cookies sheet and set your wrapped dowels out so that none of the actual ribbon is touching the rack or cookie sheet. (The clothespins help by being a "stand" to keep them raised off of direct surface), bake for 15-20 minutes.
