Scallop Envelope Die Box and Gift Tag

This was our make and take at the last workshop I did.  It's TWO Scallop Envelopes cut and then the bottom flap trimmed off to about the same size as the side tabs, and glued together.  We then wrapped a strip of Primrose Petals DSP around the whole thing and used the stamp set Reason to Smile (only $5.00 THIS MONTH ONLY- with the purchase of $50.00) and punched it out and stuck it to the front over the top of a piece of Summer Starfruit ribbon.  The little gift tag is made from Whisper White cardstock, and the flower from the front of the box, was stamped randomly dow the left side and then I let them chose a sentiment from the stamp set Friendly Phrases in black over the top.  And of course, CHOCOLATE was added to the front! Again, using the Summer Starfruit ribbon, we stapled a piece of it to the card so that it's easier to pull out.

Blooming With Kindness plus Technique

This is one of my FAVORITE "new to me" techniques right now....I did this card at my recent workshop and it was a hit! It looks like it takes a long time to make, but NOPE, no longer than any other card!  I used the stamp set Blooming With Kindess, (that I chose for FREE for my Annual Sales accomplishment from SU!)and stamped in Primose Petals ink, and I used the Background Stamp En Francias stamped in Sahara Sand.  I then used Basic Black for the sentiment and yep, added some of those Basic Pearls.  And most of my cards "have"to have some ribbon, so I added a touch of black 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon to make the colors pop.  Stay tuned for the other two projects I demonstrated at the same workshop!

Open Sleigh SAS #3

Here's the last card from the Stamp a Stack....pretty much just basic stamping.  As I said in the first post on the SAS cards, keeping it real and simple for more of a chance for people to reproduce more if needed and not burn out on them.  I used the stamp set Open Sleigh, and More Merry Messages. I wanted to keep the vintage look to it so I used Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, and Early Expresso cardstock and Cherry Cobbler ink.   Tommorrow I will be posting cards from my last workshop.

Christmas in July Stamp a Stack card #2

Well, when I first recieved my Holiday Mini, I had already had my cards for my July SAS all planned and supplies ordered...but then I saw this snowflake die and had to do another order on July 1st, JUST so I could get it and use if for my SAS...( I changed up the card I had planned JUST to incorporate this snowflake...lol) We used Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla cardstock, Silver Glitter paper, Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine a couple of punches, Argyle embossing folder and of course the Large Pearls.  This by far was MY favorite....Merry Christmas (in July!)

No Peeking!

Gotcha! You're PEEKING! lol. I just held my annual Christmas Stamp a Stack this month and one of the stamp sets we used was called No Peeking! I love the character like images in this stamp set.  I keep my cards simple for the stamp a stack because I want to remind those that card making in mass quantities doesn't have to be so labor intensive that you lose interest, so just a few things and you can make cute cards and lots of them.  I had 30 ladies in attendance and I think they all enjoyed it very much  and so did I!  Things went REALLY smooth...Anyway, I used the Designer Series Paper, Be of Good Cheer, Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler cardstock, Gumball Green ribbon, Early Expresso Ink and some Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details(on his nose).  All in attendance recieved the clear mount stamp set More Merry Messages to take home and use for making MORE!  I hope to have a great turnout for my next Stamp a Stamp in the Spring for All Occasions!  Tommorrow basic card #2.
