Keep Calm and Eat a Cupcake

I am SOOOOO happy that this Hostess set was re-released back into the catalog!  I made this card in June when I got my preorder and shortly after I made it, Stampin' UP! had to pull the stamp set from ordering because of an infringement on the whole "Keep Calm" verse...but all issues have been resolved and we can now use it and advertise it.  This card was made using Raspberry Ripple and Daffodil Delight ink and cardstock along with Whisper White.  I punched out the cupcakes, also in the set, with the 1" Cirlce punch.  I ran the Daffodil Delight cardstock through the Stripes embossing Folder and then stamped the word "and" twice, cut one out and popped it up over the other with a Dimensional. (All the cupcakes are popped up on Dimensionals as well).  Enjoy, there will be more of this stamp set in the future....

World Spectacular

One of our cards for the month of June was inspired by Pinterest, so I switched up the DSP and the colors and made my own.  We used the stamp set Word Play and the DSP World Spectacular.  I thought it was a fun card to make and how cute it would still be if you switched up different DSP and color themes?

Share What You Love Paper Bow

Can't stop making these paper bows...I just love them...I started making them and couldn't stop, so then I had all these bows and not sure what to do with them...lol, so I paired it with the stamp from a previous Stampin' UP! Convention and just made a simple card.  And the stamp says it all...I have to say, that I have never had to order more of one kind of DSP pack...but this Polka Dot Parade has me crazy! LOVE IT!

Kindess Matters Hostess Gift

I forgot to post this a few weeks back, and as I was browsing my photos thought I should share. I finally this summer had some spare time for FREE stamping, just challanging myself to make stuff I have wanted to make for the fun of it, and after I made this, I gave it to one of my hostesses.  It's a OSW (One Sheet Wonder) box and cards.  Get this, it uses only 1 1/2 sheets of DSP, and 3 pieces of cardstock! (and of course some scraps of some too).  Anyway, I used the stamp set Kindness Matters, and Melon Mambo and Soft Suede Ink and cardstock.  I love the Antique Brads, so I thought one would be nice in the middle of the flower. I used the 5/8" White grosgrain ribbon and the 1/8" White stitched ribbon.  I tried to do the masking on the butterflies, but they kind of got a little messed up, so next time I know not to do that last.
