From My Heart Blog Hop Card #2

Okay so this card is about NEW COLORS and the clay flowers.  I started off by using a Very Vanilla  base and added a Crisp Cantaloup layer that I embossed with the Mosaic Embossing Folder.  I cut down another piece of Very Vanilla and layered it with a Baked Brown Sugar piece ran through the Big Shot using the Lattice folder and wrapped in a piece of Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon tied around it.  I stamped the image on Very Vanilla in Baked Brown Sugar and again on a piece of Crisp Cantaloupe and just cut out the word "friendship" and popped it up on top.  I then added some  Crisp Cantaloupe reinker to some Clay and kneaded it until I got the right shade and then pressed it into the Silicone Mold and stuck it in the freezer for 2 minutes.  (I let it air dry overnight once it's out of the mold).  I then painted on some Crystal Effects for shine and used several Glue Dots to hold it onto the ribbon.  I hope you are enjoying the Blog Hop, you should head on over to Pam's blog next:

First Card New Catalog Relase Blog Hop/ Perfect Blend

Welcome to the Hop!  You should have known, if you know me personally that this stamp set would be on my FIRST order! COFFEE!  It's called Perfect Blend and I knew it was going to get inked up right away!  I started with a Whisper White base and added a NEW In Color- Coastal Cabana layer and then a Crumb Cake layer in which I embossed the lower half with the Stripes embossing folder.  I then ran  a strip of Early Expresso (get it, Expresso?-sorry) through the Big Shot with the Adorning Accents die.  I stamped two of the coffee cups in Early Expresso and fussy cut them out, and then stamped them again onto Coastal Cabana DSP from the NEW Print Packs in two designs and then cut them out and inked the edges in Soft Suede and tied some Early Expreso Baker's Twine around one of them  and adhered them (technique called paper piecing) together onto the card.  For the AWESOME sentiment, I stamped it in Early Expresso and stamped onto Whisper White cardstock and punched out with the 1 1/4" circle punch and layered it onto a 1 3/8" circle of Strawberry Slush!  I am IN LOVE with the IN COLORS and I know you will be too! Come back tommorrow for another card using some new colors and those lovely clay flowers!
You should head on over to Pam's blog and see what she's got going on over there!

Dapper Dad!

Okay, so here is the last of the taunting RETIRED stamp sets! lol (Told you I was WAY behind)....This was a card inspired by Minders.  I changed the DSP and the colors on the card to make it my "own"...
I used Basic Gray for the first color layer, and then cut down some Real Red and Pool Party for the front of the "shirt" and ran the Pool Party through the Big Shot and Chevron Folder, used my 3/4" square punch to put a notch in the top of it and used the Distresser Tool to rough up the edges. I then added two black brads from the Nuetrals brad pack. Stamped a bow tie from the stamp set Dapper Dad in Basic Gray onto Whisper White and fussy cut it out, and stuck a couple of Dimensionals under it, and stamped the sentiment from Delightful Dozen in Basic Gray.  Pretty simple card, but loved it for Father's Day.
