Stylin' Stampin' Squad March Blog Hop! -FLOWERS!

Thank you so much for joining us on our March Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop!  Temperatures are on the rise and there's one short week until the official first day of Spring!  We are all so ready to put away our snowflakes and break out the flowers in our craft rooms! Stampin'Up! has so many options for Spring-time flowers and we are showing you just a few today.
As you hop along, please be sure to comment and show some love on every blog! You should have just came from number 14,   http://sudonna112244.blogspot.com/2014/03/blooming-blog-hop.html.We are excited to hear from our followers.
I am so excited about this hop! I love, love, love working with FLOWERS.  I chose a set that, sadly, I had gotten way back last summer and this is the second time I've inked it.  I not only love flowers, but POLKA DOTS too!  I chose the stamp set Polka Dot Pieces and a color scheme that is very bright and cheery.
I chose to stamp the bigger flowers in Daffodil Delight, two times each, cutting in the petals on the top ones only and then layering onto another with Dimensionals.  I inked the smaller one in Cherry Cobbler and did it the same way.  I cut two Leaves from the Sizzlet in Old Olive and glued them down on top of my layer of Whisper White that I ran through the Big Shot with the Honeycomb folder and then down onto Basic Black and the base of Daffodil Delight.  I colored my sentiment from the stamp set Yippee Skippee in Daffodil Delight and Cherry Cobbler markers and stamped onto Whisper White and punched out using the Fancy Label Punch and popped it up on Dimensionals as well. (Another one of my FAVORITE things is bumping everything out-love dimension!)
For the centers of the yellow flowers, I dipped my Vintage Buttons into Versamark pad and then into Cherry Cobbler embossing powder and heating with the Heat Tool(cool huh?) and then I added a bow of White Baker's Twine to the center of the button.
For my 3D project, I made a matching box.  It is a 2,4,6,8 box (mine is 8 1/2" tall) made from Whisper White. (this box is SUPER DUPER EASY!)  I punched holes in the top and threaded through some Black Chevron ribbon through and tied it into a bow.  I did the flowers the same as the card, leaving off the buttons and switching out to Champagne Glimmer DSP.
I did the same tag as I did for the card as well, but instead tied a piece of Gold Twine onto it and then adhered it with Dimensionals.  I hope you enjoy the blog hop as much as I enjoyed making stuff.

St. Patrick's Day Goodies

Hey there! Thought I better get these goodies posted before Friday!   These are some goodies I made for some special gals as a Thank You.  Both goodies (the ones at the bottom of this post and these) are made using the Angled Tag Topper Punch.  These particular ones here are a 2" x 6" piece of Old Olive scored on the long side at 2 3/4"  and 3 1/4".  I wrapped them in scraps of the Birthday Basics DSP.  I made my own clovers(3 leaf ones..lol) by punching out 3 Small Hearts from Pear Pzazz, and then for the "stem", I used the Small Oval punch and layered it onto a 2 3/8" Scallop BasicBlack circle. I punched out a 1/2" circle of Champagne Glimmer Paper for the centers.
I stamped the Happy St. Patrick's Day from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set in Basic Black onto Whisper White cardstock and hand cut it out.   Then I added some gold chocolate coins in between and tied it closed at the top with Gold Twine.
This one is 2" x 7 1/2" piece of Old Olive scored at 3" and 4 1/2".  I added a few more chocolate gold coins in it and that's why it's bigger.  I made my own leprachaun hat by using the Petite Curly Punch and the Small Oval Punch for the bottom of the hat.  I punched out a Champagne heart from the Owl Punch.  I stamped the sentiment once again from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set onto Whisper White and punched it out using the 2 1/2" circle punch and tied it to the goodie box with the Gold Twine.
Don't forget to check back on THURSDAY! It's that time for the SSS Blog Hop! This month....FLOWERS!
