Crystal Effects meet Blendabilities

My last project from our Downline Event.  MY FAVORITE one...It's a simple card with a WOW! factor.  I layered Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Rich Razzleberry cardstock on top of Whisper White card base.  I stamped the Hip Hip Horray in Rich Razzleberry and tied a piece of Old Olive Twine around it.
For the dots, I made them using my Silicone Craft Mat and Crystal Effects.  I dropped random drops of Crystal Effects onto the mat and let dry overnight. Then once they were all dry, I colored them with Blendabilities from various sets.  I peeled them off the mat, and adhered them using Mono Multi Glue.
I think this is one of my favorite newer techniqes and now have a small bag filled with them so I can just color them whenever I want.  This technique can also be done with hot glue on the Silicone Craft Mat.

Owl French Fry Box

Here's another project we made at our Downline Event. I am in love with the French Fry Box! So VERSATILE!  I started with a Bermuda Bay card stock for the box itself, cutting it out with the French Fry Box die.  It's hard to see, but I ran it through the Big Shot with the Large Polka Dot embossing folder.  I punched out eyes using the 1" and the 3/4" inch Circle punches.  I used my Chalk Marker for the reflections in the eyes.  For her nose, I punched out a Tangerine Tango Heart with the heart punch from the new punch pack. (Sorry, I'm on the tailend of a migraine, brain is not 100%)...I punched her chest with the 1 3/8" circle out of Whisper White and then used some Champagne Glimmer Paper with the Scalloped Edge Punch to make it symetrical to the chest.  Then for the wings, I punched out a 1 3/8" Scallop Circle and cut in half and glued it to the box.  I filled a cello bag with my FAVORITE candy, Lancastors Creme Caramels, and tied it off with Bermuda Bay 1 1/4" Striped Ribbon.

Nuts About You...

So this last weekend, I had my downline over to stamp and chat.  This is one of the projects we made to take home.  I started with a 12x3 piece of Soft Sky card stock and scored it at 5 and 7 and then punched out a Small Oval for the handle.  I stamped had them use the Hostess Set Nuts About You and stamped the tree in Soft Sky on the outside of the cup carrier.  We punched out Small Hearts from Cherry Cobbler and on every other one, we placed 1/2 a Dimensional.
For the tag, I had them stamp out the squirrel in Soft Suede and the sentiment in Crushed Curry and punch out using the 1 1/4" circle punch and layer it onto a Crushed Curry Scalloped Circle punch with Dimensionals.  We punched out a heart using the Owl Builder Punch.  I punched a hole in the whole thing and string it onto Crushed Curry 1 1/4" Striped ribbon using Soft Suede Baker's Twine.
For the inside, the cup, I had them trace an unassembled cup onto paper from the Flashback pack and decorate the cup and then punch out the cup topper using the 1 3/8" punch and same paper pack.  The cups are tiny, so they could hold candy or even a gift card.

Downline Event~

Yesterday I was able to actually get some of my downline together and stamp and chat and reconnect.  The sad part about having downline is, is that not all of them are local enough to attend.  But, they are always with us in spirit and I try to make them feel special by sending them the gifties.  Speaking of, these are my gifts to them for making my business a success in so many ways.  I APPRECIATE all of them and hope they get that feeling from me. We are a small group, but that's okay, I get more personal time with them.  I used our Tag a Bag Gift Boxes( I LOVE THEM!) and slipped a piece of DSP around the clear sleeve and then stamped out the sentiment from Big News in Marina Mist ink and cut out with the Ovals Collection Framelits. I punched two holes in the top part of the oval and laced some Daffodil Delight Seam Binding Ribbon through and tied it.  I punched out the flowers from Pumpkin Pie card stock using the Boho Blossoms punch and added a Brights Button to them.
Inside I packed it with Starbursts, Twix, Bath and Body works Creamy Vanilla hand santizier and a handmade scissor charm.
I started by using some of my "hoards" of SU! retired bottle caps and punched a hole in the top with my Cropodile.  I punched out a piece of Silver Glimmer Paper, a Red Glimmer Paper Heart, and stamped out the Stampin'Up! logo using the Workshop Words that I earned two years ago at Convention, cut it out and glued it all in the bottle cap, then finished it off with Crystal Effects.  ( I let them dry over night before I put the ball chain on.
Here is what a scissor charm is....never worry about scissors coming up missing again...
Here is a card I made each of them and wrote a special not inside.  I love the fresh bright colors and they will display it and remember their place in my life.
**I also made them a Pumpkin Spice Sugar scrub, but forgot to take a photo of it...
