Artisan Embellishment Kit

Another card made using more Spring Mini product. This one went totally the opposite way I pictured it to. This kit comes with designer tags, ticket stubs, scalloped lace, cotton lace, seam binding, paper flowers, resin heart, resin flowers, 5 buttons, heart paper doily, and a round paper doiley. I added a pattern piece of paper from the Print Poetry DSP paper stack(also in the Spring Mini), and two layers of Very Vanilla cardstock, one ran through the Tulip Frame embossing folder.  I think this card took me 5 minutes from start to finish because of how simple it was to have a kit that all coordinated and made it easy for me to "match" everything.  I won't give you all the boring details, but I did want to tell you that I threaded teeny tiny pieces of cardstock through the button holes, both in Cherry Cobbler. (that lace is to die for!)

More AmoreTri Shutter Card

I was playing around with ideas for an upcoming Fancy/Fun Folds Class and was trying to use some of the new stuff from the Spring Mini and Sellabration, and I do like how this came out, this isn't going to be the final project for that class, but we will be making one of these types of cards at the class.  I started by making my base of the card with Primrose Petals an layering Whisper White cardstock and More Amore DSP throughout the card folds.  I cut  Pool Party and Whisper White layers using the Labels Framelits and then adding some holes punched using the Piercing Mat and Piercing Tool and the Festive Paper Piercing Pack.  I stamped one of the sentiments from the Vintage Versus stamp set (FREE with $50 purchase)in Primrose Petal ink and then added a GORGEOUS Designer Builder Brad onto the layers. I punched out a scrap of More Amore DSP for the center of the brad to match the rest of the card. I added a piece of White Taffeta Ribbon to the front panel to finish it off. (It's hard to see in the photo, but I used the stamp set Hearts Afflutter and randomly stamped hearts on the white panels inside in Pool Party and Primrose Petals ink).

Bright Pinwheels!

I decided to bring out some BRIGHT and springy like projects this past week, and I saw a card similar to this and changed a few things to call my own.  First of all, I came out of my box a bit and used Marina Mist.  ( I tend to stick with the same colors over and over, but this DSP makes things so much easier to just pull out all kinds of bright colors!) I used Marina Mist as my base with another layer just smaller on top of it.  I then added a striped piece of Sunshine and Sprinkles DSP(see what I mean!)so that I had a tons of colors to work with.  I ran a Whisper White piece of cardstock through using the Labels Collection Framelits and then again with the Cloudy Day Embossing Folder(this Spring Mini is FULL of AWESOMNESS!).  For the "sticks" on the Pinwheels, I used Lucky Limeade Bakers Twine.  I cut two pinwheels using the PINWHEELS die (also from the new Spring Mini!) from the same DSP and in a jif, had two cute little pinwheels with Silver Glimmer brads in the center, and adhered with Glue Dots to the Baker's Twine onto the card.  I then punched out Melon Mambo using the Modern Label Punch, a Daffodil Delight Small Oval, and then do you see that teeny tiny little punch on with the words? You can earn that FREE with a $50 purchase! I stamped the word Hello using another new stamp set in the Mini called Ciao, Baby! (p. 16) and then of course finished it off with a Basic Rhinestone. I love it!
