Parade of Petals-SAB

Good Saturday to you! This post is going to be a quick one as I have the first of my 3 Stamp a Stacks today and I will be out the door soon.
This is a card we did at our regular card class this month using the Parade of Petals stamp set, Banner Blast and Punch and the Decorative Dots Folder, AND the Sweet Sorbet Accessories Pack (all FREE with purchase and only for a few more days!).  I started with a Whisper White card base that I ran through the Big Shot using the free folder and layered Strawberry Slush and then stamped on another piece of Whisper White with the Pistachio Pudding ink pad the image from the Parade of Petals(not sure what it is...lol) three times. I wrapped a pieced of the Crisp Cantaloupe Twine around it and tied it.  I stamped two of the banners from the Banner Blast set in Strawberry Slush and Summer Starfruit and punched out a banner from Pistachio Pudding card stock. I popped them up on Dimensionals just over the twine to give the affect that they are hanging on there.  To finish up this card, I stamped several Strawberry Slush flowers directly onto the card and then some onto some Whisper White and punched out using the Bitty Punch pack and glued them onto the card.  I added some Dazzling Details(silver) to all the little flowers.
Well, I'm out for the day, I hope you make time to go find something to stamp today.  I know I will be busy with my stampers making 30 cards! Phew!

See Ya Later-Salebration meets Envelope Punch Board

Happy Friday! I am excited to show you this card I made at my workshop this past weekend.  I got the sketch from Susie Wood.  I had never made this bow with the Envelope Punch Board, but I needed something simple to showcase the "other" uses of the EPB.  I started with Smokey Slate card stock for the base of the card and added a layer of Crisp Cantaloupe.  I wanted to kind of showcase alot of product in a little amount of time, so I picked out the See Ya Later stamp set and the Sweet Sorbet DSP (BOTH FREE with a $50 purchase-each).  I layered the Sweet Sorbet DSP onto the card and then I colored in the stamp with Summer Starfruit, Pool Party, and Crisp Cantaloupe markers and stamped it onto Whisper White card stock.  I layered that onto to a Circle cut out with our Circle Framelits with Dimensionals.

For the bow, I used a strip of Pool Party card stock cut to 8 1/2" x 1" and inserting it onto the Envelope Punch Board at 4 1/4" and punching, flipping over and doing it again.  Then I put it in at 2" from each end and punched again, directly across from each other and then I "flagged" the ends. I assembled it with Glue Dots and added a Large Rhinestone to the center.
I cannot believe in just a little over a week, we are going to be done with Salebration! I hope you have had a good time with the promotion.  I know I liked everything they had to offer this year! You still have time, contact me TODAY! Don't miss out on FREE stuff!

My Paper Pumpkin Hostess Goodies

I cannot tell you how excited I was to receive this last month's My Paper Pumpkin, and I have to say, I have met my goals BECAUSE of this particular box! This past weekend, I was again, invited to a friend's home to host a workshop and this is what I've been giving to my hostesses who host in their homes.  I fill them with plenty of stamping goodness and chocolate!
I stamped the hearts from Hearts Afflutter stamp set in Crumb Cake ink right on the front of the bag.  I stamped using the stamps from the My Paper Pumpkin Box and stamped them in Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo and chose the word STAMP so that she can set this in her craft room and remember to STAMP! I added two Crushed Curry Chevron bows on the ends with the clothespins(also included) so that she can take them off and use them on cards or scrapbook pages if she wants.
Thanks for stopping by, I have lots of stuff to blog this week, so don't miss out! I hope you find time to go stamp something today!

Scalloped Tag Topper Punch-Hello Card

Hope you are having a wonderful Monday! I am! The sun is shining and it's warming up and the snow is thawing, YAY!  I wanted to post my workshop projects from my last two workshops this month.  I was dying to try this technique with my Scallop Tag Topper Punch and to play with my Fringe Scissors, so I combined them and came up with this.  I am happy with how they turned out.  They are both made with the Fresh Prints Paper Stack from the Mini catalog but I switched out the base color of card stock for each one. This one is done in Whisper White.
This one the base color is Coastal Cabana.  I made the flower by cutting a piece of our Crepe Paper in half and folding it over and gluing each strip and using my Fringe Scissors to make the "petals".  I actually achieved this full looking flower by rolling two pieces together.  Once I got it done, I cut the prongs off of a Real Red Glimmer Brad and using a couple of Glue Dots to stick it down.  I then scrunched the petals up and fluffed them out again.  I stuck the whole flower done using lots of Glue Dots. I stamped the Hello Friend from the Peachy Keen stamp set in Real Red and tied the card together using the Real Red 1/8th Taffeta Ribbon.
Here is an up close of the flower.  They are so much fun to make!  As well as the card, that is the real WOW! factor of this whole card.
Come back this week and see what other projects I made for my workshops! Now, GO! Go, make something!
