Baby We've Grown Easter Bunny

 I have to admit when I saw this stamp set in the Mini catalog, I fell in love with the owls, but that darn bunny actually got inked up first! lol.  I made some Easter cards with him/her for consignment along with the Watercolor Wonder DSP punched out with the Wide Oval Punch to resemble Easter eggs.  I got the layout idea from Wendy Weixler and I loved it.  I ran my Whisper White through the Big Shot with the Mosaic Embossing Folder first.  I also cut a Doily down in half and snuck it under the Happy Easter.

Something I am not that great at, is the watercoloring, but it's not supposed to look like perfect coloring, but it's something I'd like to work on.  I think he came out cute.

Eggstra Special Candy Holder

 Hello Stampers! Thanks for coming by today.  Today I wanted to show you a fun treat holder I made using the AWESOME Fresh Prints(no, not the one from Bell Aire-lol-I say that in my head every time that I have introduced it to  my customers..hehe) Designer Series Paper Pack, the Eggstra Special stamp set(LOVE, the bunny!) some of the delish Baked Brown Sugar Ruffled Ribbon and Bermuda Bay ribbon and of course I made the container itself out of the Envelope Punch Board.   I started with a piece of the DSP, didn't cut it or anything, just ripped it straight from the paper pack and scored it on my Simply Scored Tool (on the long side) every 1" and on the short side 1" each.  Then I folded each line down, one at a time, stuck it in the EPB at 1 1/2" and 5", punched, folded down the next line, punched and punched, repeating until all lines were punched. Inside, before tying the ends, I tucked in some snack size Kit Kats.

Here's another version of it without the ribbon, but this one I added some cute little flowers.(Below)

Inks and envelopes...it's always fun to get these kinds of boxes but then you think of all the "work" ahead...luckily I have a WONDERFUL friend who makes my life much easier..From this to 600 of these!

We always have a wonderful time with these classes and I walk away feeling that it all was worth every minute devoted to these ladies.  They always walk away with a stack of cards and in awe of the fact that they finished them all in one day!  We already have our Christmas in July Stamp a Stack in our excitement.  I better get to working on layouts.
