One in a Million Pinwheel

Well, some of you that attend my monthly card classes are going to be like, "what? that wasn't one of our cards...." well, it's not if you were in my first class of the month. lol You see, THAT class, one of my customers decided to try and "unjam" my Cupcake punch and THREW IT ON THE FLOOR, literally shattering the metal piece....soooooo, until I had the money to replace it, I couldn't do the same card that we did earlier on, so I had to come up with another card for my last two classes of the month. I know, debacle right?  So, instead, I just came up with the same color scheme, since I had the first two layers already cut for the class, just had to change the focal point. ( It was a much easier card...hehehehe)
So anyway, here it is, I love how it came out!

Moving Forward

Every year Stampin'UP! designs a stamps set for the Ronald McDonald House Charities and donates a portion of the profits back to it.  This years set is adorable, and is called Moving Forward.  I think the not only the simplicity of this card, but the colors of Whisper White and Daffodil Delight with just a touch of Basic Black, just make it cheery!  I used the Labels Framelits to stamp the bicycle onto, and the Fancy Fan Folder for the texture.(Think that is my new favorite embossing folder!) And then the strip of polka dot paper is from the Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper Pack!  I then OF COURSE, added some little flowers from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack and finished it off with some Basic Pearls. Enjoy!

Happy Bootday!

I thought I would share this week our July cards from card class....This stamp set just grew on me, and I know that Halloween and Christmas there will be more of it be used for our classes, cannot wait!  I used the stamp set Bootiful Occasions, and the bright color scheme of Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, and Whisper White.  We did a paper piecing technique on this and covered the Bitty Button with DSP. I stamped the boots on Rich Razzleberry DSP and they cut them out, I know, I so nice...lol, and then punched out a 2 1/2" circle of white and stamped Happy Bootday in Pumpkin Pie.  Then we ran the front white panel through the Perfect Polka Dots folder.  Very simple but fun!
