Summer Smooches Box

This weekend I hosted a Summer Smooches product based class and had a WONDERFUL time with all the ladies that came! I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product suite!  I am sad that the Fabric Brads are no longer available due to being sold out! BUT, that's okay, there is PLENTY of gorgeous materials in this suite including the FABRIC!  So, this is the non card project we made today, it's a 2,4,6,8 box and we made the flower out of 4 Scallop Circles folded in quarters and glued to a 1 3/4 circle of cardstock for support. Then we added a button from the Brights Collection, and some White Baker's Twine in the center.  I used the Tasteful Trim die for the Big Shot for the stem(rickrac) and the 5 Petal Flower punch (which is soon to be retired) for the leaves, all using Lucky Limeade cardstock.  We then finished it off by stamping in black on Lucky Limeade the saying "to my Friend" from the stamp set, Perfect Punches, punched it out with the Curly Label punch, and added those cute tiny flowers from the Bitty Punches, and yep, added some Basic Rhinestones.  We used a mini clothespin to close it with(soon to be retired as well!)  Let me know if you would like to own your own set of Summer Smooches DSP and stamps!

Gnome Love!

Okay, so here is another Gnome card....like I said before, FREE stamps STAMP BEST! lol  I LOVE,LOVE, LOVE the Domestic Goddess DSP and will hate seeing it go, and give me gingham print and I am happy! I used Pool Party, Cherry Cobbler and Sahara Sand and Whisper White cardstock. I used the Gnome and Gnomeclature sets and markers to color it all.  I then sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink to take the starkness off the DSP.  Just a reminder if you would like to own these sets, they are only around for 1 MORE WEEK!

Sweet Shoppe Umbrella Treat Holder

I made this umbrella treat holder because I have been wanting to make something 3D for fun for a long time, and this tutorial sat in my files forever.  I used the Sweet Shoppe DSP from the Ocassions Mini which is only around for a couple of weeks(actually, 9 more days) and PS I Love You also from the mini! I used Four Frames which is still in the current IB&C.  I used Calypso Coral for the box to hold the treats, and I used my Big Shot and the Scallop Circle die for the umbrella.  I then had to free hand the handle and attach it to the inside back of the box.  I punched out the tag using the Fancy Label Punch and the 1/8th hole punch to string my White Baker's Twine through to attach to the small cello bag.  I then tied a 3/8" White Taffeta ribbon around the candy and sat the whole thing down into the umbrella. Took me know time at all, and I love how it came out!
