Almost Artisan Blog Hop (Project #10) My Bug Box

This was favorite project that I did. I had this in my head since last summer and kept telling myself I could make one that could really be used. I think it came out wonderful and would pay for them to send all my stuff back....but here they are, the projects that I made to enter the Artisan Award 2010....I hope you enjoyed them as much I as did making them and sharing them.

Almost Artisan Blog Hop (Project #9) 3D Brag Book

Okay so this was totally from scratch. I recycled the cardboard inserts from the DSP packs and made ALL out of it. Even the pages inside were made from it. I am wondering now, if I should have filled it with lots of pictures, or did something else inside to it, but too late.

Almost Artisan Blog Hop(Project #8) Scrapbook pages

I was pretty happy with this one too. I love these pictures of my daughter and knew that I wanted to share them. So, I decided that the day reminded me of blowing pinwheels in the park. The wind was just right that day to do so.

Almost Artisan Blog Hop (Project #7) Scrapbook pages

Okay, so I may have realized a possibility as to why I didn't win....after looking at this picture, I noticed that my handwriting is HORRIBLE! But I gave it my "extra touch" and that is who I am....take it or leave it...(and we all know what they did...:) )

Almost Artisan Blog Hop(Project #6) Scrapbook pages

Okay, so my mind was taunted a bit on the scrapbook pages, I still think I am in the "learning stages", this is not my strong area for papercrafting. However, I was inspired by lots of photos, and I was happy with the ones I made.

This first one is my favorite, it was my favorite picture of him, so I decided to do it in an 8 1/2 by 8 1/2 page. I used the the Big Shot once again (gotta love this machine) and some Animal Stories DSP, and the coordinating stamp set. A few punches and some embellies.

Almost Artisan Blog Hop (Project #5)

Although I didn't attend Leadership this past year, (but may this coming year), saw this technique floating around alot. I LOVE IT! Anyway, I used some of my favorite DSP, Bella Bleu and gave some sponge inking to it to make it a little "vintage". Once again, trying to mix up the choices a bit. This was probably my favorite card I made.

Almost Artisan Blog Hop (Project #4)

This one too uses the BigShot and Scallop Circle #2 die along with the Cute and Cuddly stamp set. I did the paper peicing technique on this one. It is a very simple card, but was trying to throw in a mix of both.
