Beautiful Butterflies

I saw this technique on someone's blog and cannot for the life of me remember who...SO SORRY! But I knew I wanted to try it and shared it recently with some pretty special ladies....I finally got to show them the Simply Scored Tool, scored every 1" in both directions. Then did the "direct to paper" technique on the grid to "pop" it out.  It looks so much like velvet, it is amazing effect!  I then scalloped the edge of the white piece and ruffled the Rose Red Seam Binding.  And I couldn't help but use the new Apothecary Accents Framelits and stamp set Lovely Labels that fits perfectly inside it!  We cut out 5 butterflies from the Butterfly Accents Embosslit and used Glue Dots to adhere them, and then added those beautiful Large Pearls.

Love and Laughter Bridal Shower Card

This was a custom made bridal shower card that I made this week for a friend.  Her colors were Daffodil Delight, Gray, and white.  I ran the white through the Wallpaper Embossing folder, and the Gray through the Scallop Circle die, and then another piece of Whisper White through the 3" die and stamped the dress once directly onto it, then stamped again and cut it out and popped it up with Dimensionals.  I tied a bow to the top with Basic Gray Taffeta ribbon and punched out an Itty Bitty flower from the Itty Bitty punch pack from Daffodil Delight and glued it to the dress and added a Basic Pearl.
