Bloomin' Kindness Sympathy Card SAS Card #4

This is the 4th card we made for our Stamp a Stack and this is the most loved one of the group.  I started with a base of Early Expresso and layered it with a More Mustard ran through the Big Shot with the Wallpaper embossing folder and then a layer of Cajun Craze.  I stamped the flower from the Bloomin' With Kindness stamp set in More Mustard onto Very Vanilla and cut it out using the Apothecary Accents Framelits die and used the Essentials Paper Piercing Pack around the edges.  I stamped the sympathy sentiment from the set  A Perfect Pair in Early Expresso.  Before adhering it all down, I wrapped a piece of Soft Suede Taffeta ribbon around it and tied a knot. I stamped a butterfly from the set Pappillon Pavillion in Early Expresso onto Soft Suede cardstock and punched it out with the Large Butterfly punch and stuck it down with a few Mini Glue Dots.  Come back tommorrow for the 5th and final card of the SAS!

Baby Prints SAS card #3

I can't believe I missed posting yesterday, sorry about that.  I am in the middle of cutting and prepping for my Fancy Folds class next week and am glad I decided to start on it yesterday because one card, took me over an hour to to cut and score, etc, and I still have 4 more to go before next Wednesday. Phew...
on to the card.....this is the baby card we did in my recent All Ocassion Stamp a Stack.  I stamped the baby feet from the Baby Prints stamp set in Pink Pirouette(AM SO HAPPY TO BE GETTING BLUSING BRIDE BACK for this purpose-flesh tone!) onto Whisper White cardstock cut out with the Windows Framelits and then the sentiment from A Word For You in Crumb Cake ink over the feet.  I stamped the word sweet from the stamp set Lovely Little Labels in Pool Party ink and punched out with the coordinating punch from the Little Labels Punch Pack and added a safety pin from the Vintage Trinkets through it and then onto a bow made with Daffodil Delight Seam Binding ribbon.  All of this is layered onto a card base of Pool Party and layers of Daffodil Delight and Crumb Cake cardstock(which is ran through the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder). Come back tommorrow and see card #4....Thanks for stoppin' by!

Dapper Dad-Stamp a Stack card #2

This is the second card I wanted to share from my previous All Ocassions Stamp a Stack this past month.
I saw a card similar to this in some colors I don't use, so I decided why not switch out the colors and make it something I like.  This stamp set wasn't one of my first choices when the mini catalog came out, but it grew on me, like most stamp sets do over time, lol.  I don't have enough stamp sets for masculine use, and this one has three images that are PERFECT for just that.  I started by using Very Vanilla cardstock as my base and layering it with the much forgotten Chocolate Chip cardstock and then a layer of Crumb Cake ran through the Lattice embossing folder.  I stamped the bow tie once onto a square of Very Vanilla and then on a scrap piece of VV and cut that one out and popped it up on Dimensionals and added some brads to the four corners and adhered it down to a layer of Chocolate Chip.  I then stamped the sentiment from the Perfectly Penned stamped set in Chocolate Chip onto Very Vanilla and sponged the edges and also adhered it with Dimensionals.

Oh, Hello!

I finally got around to taking photos after a really busy month!  I am going to share the photos of my All Ocassions Stamp a Stack everyday this week.  This first one I am posting is an idea of an idea I saw on Pinterest. I added some more components to the original idea and changed the color scheme up. I used Summer Starfruit cardstock for the base, and then ran a layer of Crumb Cake cardstock through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots folder on top of the base.  I then used one of our Doilies and layered onto that a Cherry Cobbler chevron from the Oh, Hello stamp set, cut with a layer using the Oval Framelits.  I then glued some Summer Starfruit Stitched ribbon down and stamped the Thanks So Much in Whisper White ink onto Crumb Cake and "banner edged" both ends and stuck down onto the ribbon with Dimensionals.  I finished off the card by using Mini Glue Dots on the back of a flower from the Flower Trim and added a Large Pearl in the center.  ** I died the flowers in a ziploc bag using reinkers and water**
Come back tommorrow for another card from our stamp a stack!
