Gold Soriee Purse ~Sister Birthday

My sister shares my passion for papercrafting, so for her birthday, I made one of the little purses that are popular right now (although, they aren't as little as I thought). I just love the Gold Soriee DSP and am going to miss it most when it's gone. I made the purse from the DSP and trimmed it out with Calypso Coral card stock that I ran through the Big Shot using the Tasteful Trim die for the bottom.
I stamped out 6 large Sca.llop Flowers from the same DSP pack and crinkled and made a big flower from it and stuck a Antique Brad in the center.
I used my Envelope Punch Board to make an envelope for the gift certificate (a SU! one of course) to tuck away inside. I tied it shut with the Gold Satin Ribbon.  I stuck inside her bag some Muskateer Mint minis and my FAVORITE candy, Lancaster Caramels!

Happy Birthday Emmitt!

Our baby grandson turned ONE two weeks ago and this is the card that I made for him. I started out with Cherry Cobbler and Soft Sky cardstock and then added a piece of Whisper White to the front that I ran through and cut a star from the Star Framelits and then through the Polka Dot Embossing folder. I added a piece of Maritime DSP behind it with the cute octopus on it.
I used the Playful Pennants stamps set to finish the card with the sentiment stamped in Whisper White Craft Ink onto Night of Navy card stock and flagged at both ends.  I stamped out the banner in Cherry Cobbler and punched with the Pennant Builder punch and then cut the number 1 from Gold Glimmer paper from the Perfect Print BigZ die.  I tied it on with Coastal Cabana Twine and piece of the the gold thread from the Gold Baker's Twine.
