Celebrate!

Well, I'm finally getting sat down to post our cards from August class.  This card was pretty much everyone's favortie.  I started by layering Bermuda Bay onto Whisper White base and then for the card front, I used the Heart and Stars Masks to make the yellow stars.  I mixed Crushed Curry reinker with 70% rubbing alcohol in a Stampin' Spritzer and then laid the mask/ stencil over the paper and spritzed it. Viola! For the Melon Mambo star, I layered one of the Star Framelits with another smaller one inside and ran it through at the same time through the Big Shot to get the "cutout" effect.  I criss crossed two pieces of Silver Twine through the star and adhered the ends to the back.  I cut another smaller star from the Silver Glimmer paper and adhered it to the center of the cut out.  Then using the star punch, I punched out two more and glued them onto the front.
I used the stamp set Fabulous Four and stamped the sentiment in Bermuda Bay.   Below is a "vamped" up version of the card using two of the stamp from that stamp set  and moving over the star to the opposite side and popping up two of the stars with Dimensionals.
Love the look of the card, and it's super simple!  Well, I'm out for now, come back later and I will have the rest of our card class cards to show you. Thanks for stopping by!
