Mongramed Glitter "Nametags"

We had our Demo Meeting/"Christmas" gift exchange last night (yep, we had to put it off 2 other times, but finally we did it before NEXT Christmas) and these were the "nametags" I made to put on their Sweet Pea reusable bags (I think they were more excited for these bags than the actual gift that I made for them, in which I will post later).

Gift for Baby Jack!

One of my stamping friends had a baby boy on February 15th and his name is Jack. I made these thank you cards and a box to hold them because I know when you have to send out thank you's after such an occassion, you don't always want to do them all at once, so I am hoping that she can just reach in and make them as she needs too. I put a "j" on the outside of the box so that if she uses all of the cards, she can use the box to put little things in and sit it on his dresser.

OH! and that Tiny Tag Punch.....yeah, didn't even think about it looking like a baby bottle, until I taped it next to the image....neat though. Just another use for that punch!

"Time for More BS (BigShot that is) Stamp Camp II"

So, my girls are finally getting into the BigShot and all the wonderful things besides cards that can be made with it and all those precious dies. Yesterday I held my second BigShot Stamp camp called, "Time for More BS" and they really enjoyed themselves. We made 5 projects and I announced to them that I had my projects all planned for our 3rd CAMP! (I think I shalll call it "So Full of BS" Stamp camp, hehe- or "Are you tired of all my BS?" hehe) They all seemed to be surprised that there is even more things to do with it. I got news for them.......:)

February Scrapbooking Layout #2

Okay, figured out the problem as to why they were posting sideways.....resize them! Anyway here is the second layout we did for our class this month. We used Crushed Curry DSP, Night of Navy and Vanilla Cardstock and the stamp set Happy Everything.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

These were the cards I made for my girls and husband for Valentine's day...I got the original idea from our SU! monthly newsletter contest winner. I used the Scalloped Heart Embosslit Die instead of the Ornament punch.....and I am loving the Sending Love Specialty DSP...and what about that Perfect Dots embossing folder...oh such bliss...anyway, enjoy!

Big Shot Rag Purse

Okay, so I DO NOT sew...................BUT these purses had me the first time I saw one....so, I figured I would have a friend help me with the sewing part (THANK YOU SHARON!). It literally took me less than an hour to cut for 3 purses! That included cutting the fabric (Big Shot and Scalloped Square die - 8 layers at a time!) and 67 squares of batting all by hand......and the gluing to hold them together til' we sewed them....how fun. So, I have 2 pictures to post today, (already have my other loaded and ready to carry out the door ") ) so I will take a picture of it later. I choose yellow and black for the Iowa Hawkeyes/Pitt. Steelers and the "Cool Carribean" and chocolate just because I like those together....anyway....there you have it!

BigShot Pop Up Cake

This is the card of my neice's 16th birthday this month. I LOVED this Speciality DSP last year, so I bought some before it was gone, but am trying to use stuff instead of "hoarding" it......it was hard to cut into, but I knew my sister would take good care of the card and cherish it, so it made it easier....:)

Anyway, I love this die and even as detailed as it looks, this cake is alot easier than you think to make.
