Almost Artisan Blog Hop (Project #2)

This card I used the Big Shot and cut out the letters. And then did a version of the scrunched flower technique and made them into "cupcakes". I then made "homemade" buttons for the cherry on top effect, and stamped the cupcake paper from Crazy for Cupcakes and cut them out.

Okay, so I found out yesterday that I was NOT chosen as an Artisan Award winner, but since I took time to make all the projects and did my very best, some of us who did not get chosen decided we needed to showcase our efforts. For the Artisan Award, we had to make 5 cards, 3 scrapbook pages and 2 3D items (non card/scrapbook). So, for the next 10 days, you will get to see all 10 of my projects, one day at a time.

Almost Artisan Blog Hop Tour starts TOMMORROW!

So, for those of you who know me, I entered the SU! Artisan Award for the second year in a row. However, I did NOT get a call yesterday, so starting tommorrow, I will start showing my projects (one per day for the next 10 days) on my blog. Ribbon Flower in Ornament Punch Vase

I found the sketch idea for this in a magazine, and decided that I had to make one. I just took scraps of ribbon and looped them on the back of my layered circles and the "vase" is the ornament punch with a sliver of the pointed end sliced off.

Look Who's Turning! (1)

This is a card I actually used for both of my April workshops, this one was for my hostesses little boy who was turning one shortly after her workshop, I also did one exactly like this for my other hostess whose little GIRL was turning one also, I added some Pixie Pink to her card (forgot to take a picture :( , but I love this set and forgot that I hadn't used it yet!
