Happy Birthday

Well, today is my birthday, and this is another card rejection from submissions, but I used the Happy birthday sentiment from Grunge Rock. I learned how to make these ribbon flowers from convention 08 and it's one of my favorite things to make!

My Digital Studio Card

I just got the MDS CD from the Summer Mini(the hostess one) called Cheerful Treats! LOVE IT! Anyway, while trying to keep my stamp room clean today, I need my fix with "stamping" so I sat and played on my MDS today. Still got lots of learning to do, but had fun with the punches and and new content.

REUSE and RECYCLE your SU! boxes!

Okay, so I was shopping at a scrapbook store and noticed they had corrugated sheets of cardboard, but I thought they were pricey. Well, I decided, why not use what I have sitting at home in my recycling area....YEP! THE STAMPIN' UP! boxes....I sat down one evening for half and hour and just tore them down to get what I wanted....then I came in and immediatley had to try and run it through the Big Shot to see if it "squished" it, and NOPE, not a squish at all. And yes, I used my favorite die, Fun Flowers! Enjoy!

Flower Fest ROCKS!

OMG! I LOVE THIS SET! I just can't stop playing with it! Here I just stamped randomly in colors I haven't used together yet and loved how it came out!

My first Twisted Easel card

Okay, I must say, that I am WAAAAY behind the times with new techniqes, but this has got to be one those that you just can't stop coming up with ideas for....anyway, I LOVE the regular easel cards but this really is a fun "twist" on the original! I used some more paper from the simply scrappin' kit from the Summer Mini and some buttons and the Jewlery Tag punch and the stamp set Tiny Tags...

Toilet Paper Tube mini album

Okay, so my family always thinks I am crazy when I have sacks full of stuff like empty toilet paper tubes....I always have good intentions, but FINALLY I sat and made one today, a mini album! I used all the papers from the new Simply Scrapbooking Kit in the Summer mini and added some embellishements of my own. I am trying to figure out what to put in it now......

Fun Flowers for a Friend

I had a customer who asked me to make the flowers from stamp camp for her friend that is in the hospital. I wanted to make the bright and cheery, so I made them with Daffodil Delight. I sponged the edges with Tangerine tango. I love running these flowers through the Big Shot with embossing folders...the possiblitlies are endless.
