Christmas in July Stamp a Stack card #2

Well, when I first recieved my Holiday Mini, I had already had my cards for my July SAS all planned and supplies ordered...but then I saw this snowflake die and had to do another order on July 1st, JUST so I could get it and use if for my SAS...( I changed up the card I had planned JUST to incorporate this snowflake...lol) We used Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla cardstock, Silver Glitter paper, Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine a couple of punches, Argyle embossing folder and of course the Large Pearls.  This by far was MY favorite....Merry Christmas (in July!)

No Peeking!

Gotcha! You're PEEKING! lol. I just held my annual Christmas Stamp a Stack this month and one of the stamp sets we used was called No Peeking! I love the character like images in this stamp set.  I keep my cards simple for the stamp a stack because I want to remind those that card making in mass quantities doesn't have to be so labor intensive that you lose interest, so just a few things and you can make cute cards and lots of them.  I had 30 ladies in attendance and I think they all enjoyed it very much  and so did I!  Things went REALLY smooth...Anyway, I used the Designer Series Paper, Be of Good Cheer, Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler cardstock, Gumball Green ribbon, Early Expresso Ink and some Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details(on his nose).  All in attendance recieved the clear mount stamp set More Merry Messages to take home and use for making MORE!  I hope to have a great turnout for my next Stamp a Stamp in the Spring for All Occasions!  Tommorrow basic card #2.

Bring On The Cake!

Another 2 stamps sets that I just knew I had to have from the new catalog! Bring on the Cake and A Fitting Occasion.  I paired it with some of the NEW 2012-14 In Colors, Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse, and Primrose Petals and added some Baja Breeze ink.  I pulled out a scrap of DSP from the pack Patio Party.  I grabbed some punches and this is what I came out with.  I love that we have coordinating ribbon for the In Colors, and that it is soft and easy to tie.  And what card isn't finished without the use of the Basic Pearls?   

Bootiful Occasions

Okay, am going to admit that this stamp was the FIRST one I just had to have out of the new catalog!  I cannot stop playing with it.  This week is the Stampin'Up! National Convention and I am not attending, and I am sad, but am BLESSED beyond anything I could imagine to be going on a trip with SU! in the fall. (And I WILL be attending next year for my 10th Anniversary with SU! for THEIR 25th Anniversary!)  A gal on Facebook thought it would keep our minds off of going this year by having a "Non-Convention Goers" card swap.  I must say, it was nice to get all those cards back in the mail just in time for me to start seeing all the posts about those who ARE going and how they were leaving for Utah that day.  Anyway, here is my card and I am sure you will all be seeing more of it in the near future!

CHEERS!

Well, this is my card that dedicate to all of those who I know that earned the Hilton Head Getaway! CHEERS TO YOU!  I saw this card on a blog and knew it would be one that I wanted to try when I got some time, and what better time to create then when you have tons of new product that hasn't been used! so, I brought out Old Olive, Raspberry Ripple and Summer Starfruit cardstock and inks and started stamping!  It's a 5 1/4 x 12 piece of Old Olive, scored with the Simply Scored tool, at 2,4,8, 10, and then cut from the middle of the outside panels up to the top and then fold. I used the Happy Hour Stamp set that I also just had to have, and stamped it in the RR and OO inks, and stamped one extra umbrella and cut it out, and, yes, popped it up on top of another one.  I then added some Basic Rhinestones across the front on top of a sliver of Summer Starfruit.  I hope you enjoyed today's card, believe it or not, I have one for each day this week! 

Hilton Head Here I Come!

I got an email today Congratulating me on earning the Hilton Head Getaway~  (they sent me this Blog badge to attach to my blog!)I am so excited to get the official word from Stampin'UP! I have already sent away for the planner to see what kinds of things I want to do while there and it looks like I may try and parasail, and go see some dolphins on a tour, and of course I am going to be 40 minutes away from SAVANAH GA, so I will attempt to make the trip to eat at Paula Deen's resturant!  Anyway, I will be posting some new classes for the fall, to help start earning the NEXT incentive trip for 2013~ THANK YOU ALL for your support and kind words of encouragment throughout this achievement!

Chock Full of Cheer Kraft Box

This was the box we made at my Hostess Club Appreciation party.  I love that these Kraft Boxes are so easy to assemble and then to just add some DSP using the Big Shot and some dies to finish it make it seriously too easy to make a mass amount.  And the price is seriously way too good too!  Anyway, we cut the top and bottom paper with the Scallop Squre die from Very Vanilla and Be of Good Cheer DSP.  And then we used the Peekaboo Frames die to cut out Cherry Cobbler "door" and glued it over the top of a Very Vanilla scrap and stamped Merry Christmas from the stamp set Chock Full of Cheer in Gumball Green ink.  Then I had them stamp the ornament from the same set in Gumball Green 4 times and glue it to make a 3D ornament on top.  Added a Gumball Green bow and viola!
