I found the sketch idea for this in a magazine, and decided that I had to make one. I just took scraps of ribbon and looped them on the back of my layered circles and the "vase" is the ornament punch with a sliver of the pointed end sliced off.
This is a card I actually used for both of my April workshops, this one was for my hostesses little boy who was turning one shortly after her workshop, I also did one exactly like this for my other hostess whose little GIRL was turning one also, I added some Pixie Pink to her card (forgot to take a picture :( , but I love this set and forgot that I hadn't used it yet!
Okay, so I haven't posted any creations lately, so I was playing around with some ideas the other night and this kind of came out like I imagined it to. I don't have anyone to give it to, since I made a card for my mom already, but I guess it will just go into my stash, like so many others do..
Okay so I FINALLY got my May Stampin' Success! What a lucious peice of work it is! And those new papers, simply incredible!~
Anyway.............now that I can see it in person.....I just wanted to share this project that I submitted almost exactly a year ago to SU! for a contest.....I thought it was cool to see the cupcake on the front of the SS! It isn't mine, but it is the same concept! Anyway, I didn't win then, but had never seen the cupcake before I made one and here it is on the front of the SS!
Okay, so this is one of my favorite stamp camps so far! I presented it to my monthly card class last night, so I can officially post it to others. We are making a Rolodex Birthday (special occassion) Organizer and 10 Birthday cards with 1/2 a SSK per person!
For those who weren't able to make it last night PLEASE email me if you want to come, registration/payment isn't due until May 12th. I will gladly send you the information!
Do you remember this lucious paper? Washington Apple? Anyway, I made this card a long while ago, but haven't had time to really create much lately, so I am pulling up stuff from my picture folder. :)
I still love this stamp set and I incorporated a fancy fold into it and this is what I got!
This is my WOW project that I made during my March workshops. I just sealed one of our lucious Whisper White envelopes shut, sliced off and inch and proceded to decorate it. I wanted to showcase the Sweet Pea DSP, the Scallop Border punch, Whimisical Words and those precious Sweet Pea Felt flowers and that beautiful Satin ribbon!
